I wonder when the bottom is going to fall out of these muscle cars. You watch Barrett Jackson or Mecum on TV and it is a copy of the same old guy at every event throwing hundreds of thousands of dollars at getting the car they wanted when they were 17 in 1969. You get a few younger (and usually douchbag looking) guys

Had the toy.  Also had a pizza shooting assault vehicle type thing.  Don’t remember if it was actually in the cartoon.

I like that Adult Swim made a real one and gave it away in a contest. Wonder where it ended up.

I’ve seen some obscenely expensive Challenger Scat Packs on the local CDRJ dealer sites.  I think the dealers are already hoping to create a sense of scarcity.

It is 2 Wycked.  Show that Dodge Stealth some respect.

Maybe if it was 4WD I’d be coaxed into paying what is still an absurd amount of money for a two decade old compact pickup with 200k miles on it.

Yeah I like it until you get to the back.

I agree. I planned to seriously consider a Bolt, which isn’t as capable a package as the Model 3, but it is cheaper. Now isn’t the time to replace my commuter car, so I guess I won’t get a BoltSo what is next up the price ladder...Tesla. I don’t want to buy a Tesla though.

The Sienna has no competitor....except now maybe the Grand Highlander.

I’d love to know when this “strategy” worked once.

Yup - HOAs are really just a way for local government to approve development without having to worry about actually providing services to it beyond water/sewer. Sometimes not even that.

I don’t fly that much, but it seems like there are always standby passengers.

Eddie Money’s “Shakin”

Maybe I’m alone, but I was a car obsessed teenager when this came out and have no recollection of it at all.

Wouldn’t this guy’s open seat be a good thing for the airline? Someone paid for a seat, isn’t using it, and now they fill it with someone they overbooked. You’re making money twice off that seat. That other ticket you’re selling is certainly worth more than the snack pack or wifi they might buy on the flight to NYC.

Its a no-go for me for the same reasons you just outlined. Walmart tires get a pass on a $1500 Chevy Cavalier. They don’t on a 5 year old Mercedes, and they certainly don’t on a freaking Ferrari. Why have a Ferrari if you don’t put good rubber on it?

That is my issue too. No one really trusted dealer...ever, but some dealers have really proven themselves to be scum over the past 2 years.

Its quite a mixed bag out there.

They’d probably think the XC60 Recharge covers that territory, so just offer a “hot” V60.  I’m with you, I’d rather have the wagon.

Also would consider replacing a hybrid “commuter car” with one. I would not buy a $50k+ vehicle for that job though. More like a Bolt, but those are gone, and the ones that remain are marked up.
