FWIW, I got 6 solar quotes in my area last year and zero of them were like that. 4 of them just sent me a quote via email, that was it. They can look at the roof from aerial photography and pitch a design. Two wanted to come by to do the pitch, but they just made their pitch, answered questions and were happy to let

I’m not saying it is right, but doesn’t pretty much every website (or even old school newspaper ad) say “prices subject to change” or “won’t honor errors” or something like that.

Right.  “An M8 Competition for $5900?  I’ll take it”.

$7 for what looks like half a bologna sandwich is apparently a good deal. I live in an expensive major metro area, I get it things aren’t cheap, but that still doesn’t look like a good deal.

You don’t want to pack a cheese and charcuterie tray to enjoy in the Flying J parking lot for 50 minutes while you regain another 4 hours of driving range?  Sounds so appealing.

Car 1: We routinely take this car into rural areas and it needs to be able to handle cargo. I’d like to be able to refuel it somewhere. I also find the idea of 30-45 minutes of charging to get decent range unacceptable when I can still refuel a gas car in 2 minutes. I’m not one of these people who likes to hang out at

It is strange. Even if it was some gutless late 70's/80's V8, you’d think they would say “Chevy V8" without much detail. Maybe you get some sucker who thinks that automatically means it generates good power.

As usual, screw the seller with their list of 500 cars to try and snag any search.

Yeah the author seems to suggest Cena is just a “wrestler”, but he isn’t a bad actor. Isn’t professional wrestling just a bunch of actors doing their own stunts?

Out of all the cruise ships out there, a story like this comes out once every few years. Usually it is just “scary” for the person who must talk to the press or post their POV videos on social media. A few morons throw the word “class action lawsuit” around (because of the weather?).

The “doc fee” isn’t going to break me either. But it is the whole concept of paying something for *nothing* that bothers me with these dealer fees. Places around me charge $900 for a “doc fee” or “dealer fee” whatever the hell they call it. $900 for fucking what? If it is a “service”, then why can’t I find an

I know dealers complain about a “lack of trust”, but they’ve earned it. Hell, I sold cars, I know why people don’t trust car dealers.

I wonder if they are requiring those dealers to take allocations of Mach Es.

I agree.  The regular 4-series looks terrible.  The M3/M4 looks a bit better.  Still not great, but better.

Not a B7, but I was behind a 750 the other day that was doing just that.  Did a great job of filling my cabin with burned oil smell for a good chunk of my commute.

I can’t imagine the caliber of “armed driver” you are getting here is going to be very high.  You won’t have John Wick behind the wheel, ready to get you out of a bad situation if one presents itself.  You’ll have some guy who probably was an Uber driver last week and has minimal training with the firearm.

I hear you, and to me, the driver seat is the head scratcher for that argument. If the dude is fixing up a car as a hobby with the intent to sell it, why not go get a better looking driver seat to cap it off? Seems like he is just throwing in the towel on this one.

Maybe it is just me, but whenever I see a listing where there was an engine swap or some other major rebuild or swap done just 2-3k miles prior, I wonder if the owner is “sick of this POS” and trying to cash out before it strikes their wallet again.

I was curious to see if they were doing that and I couldn’t find any of those “special” Challengers and Chargers listed on lots.

Hear that one. The “come on in and talk” dealership decided calling me for six weeks after I bought a car somewhere else was the smarter move to get the sale. Meanwhile a different dealer gave me a fair OTD price over email and had me in and out in an hour when I went there to buy the car from them.
