Looks solid. Certainly a cool way to cruise around on a nice day and not an obscene amount of money for a well sorted “classic”.

If you need a loan for a $1000 home improvement, you probably should be re-evaluating your pending purchase of a $70k+ Ford Lightning or most other EVs. Maybe it makes sense for the Bolt and Leaf buyers out there.
Do people just wake up one day and go “I’m going to list my car for sale” and then they take pictures without even cleaning out the Fritos bag or whatever is sitting on the center console? Or removing the nasty seat cushion? I’m not saying you need to get a pro detailer over, but come on.
Stop being surprised that a corporation is only concerned about the well-being of the corporation. They’re going to do whatever they can do to make the most amount of money.
Yes, a mid-gate Avalanche kind of set up was actually the first thing I thought of when I saw this truck. It’d be amazing for versatility in a smaller vehicle like this.
The term “Turbo S” as a trim isn’t like owned by Porsche?
Yeah it seemed like $10k for a Generac on natural gas would be a far better option for a whole home backup. It can also run my a/c units without having to mess with how they power on.
I’d just like to be able to buy a Prime someday without dealer markup.
Toyota sells hybrids with all-wheel drive. Honda had a MDX Hybrid with SH-AWD. Maybe Ford just doesn’t have one drawn up? The Escape PHEV isn’t AWD.
It’d be nice to have for light off-roading. Not necessary really, but nice to have.
I’d take that too.
People don’t know better. When I sold cars, we had so many people come in who had less than stellar credit, and they would basically put themself at the mercy of the dealership F&I guy to get them a loan. More than one customer didn’t even care what the terms of the deal were. “Oh you got me a loan? Where do I…
Doing batteries for my house as part of a solar installation would have run about $30k. That is probably why it isn’t “standard” with anything.
Man, if Ford would just offer a AWD hybrid for $30k, I’d be all over it (once they actually have a product to sell me without having to bribe a sleazy dealer). Or maybe even a AWD PHEV for under $40k would be good too.
Yes, it looks like a fairly well finished backyard franken-car
I’d want a longer bed on a S-10. I don’t buy an S-10 to haul people around.
I guess it doesn’t cost anything to include it on here, but is anyone really hitting this site up to find an allocation for the SXT V-6 model?
Is Lincoln even a “prestige brand” anymore? I know Ford wants you to think so, but they just seem like such ghost of a brand these days. I guess people still like Navigators right?
Poor kids these days. No one is driving around in a used station wagon.
My first thought too. Finding a photo of a Ryanair plane takes exactly 2 seconds
