Does placing an order online necesesarily avoid that?

I’m staying in a price range that I could theoretically afford the cost of admission...but would be afraid to actually own it and have it be an anchor on my bank account. So no supercars that would sap me of every asset I own.
It is too bad they’ve “Cross Countried” the V60 and you have to pony up $70k for the Polestar model if you don’t want black plastic wheel trim and a lift kit.
Yeah, I saw that and immediately thought...that isn’t going very far is it?
I don’t know what it is, but for me, there isn’t much allure of watching copies of cars competing against each other. F1 isn’t that interesting to me either.
Right. I can get 45 mpg with my Prius without trying too hard to get good gas mileage. Gas is $3.39 here at the moment. So I can cover 100 miles for $7.53 in fuel.
Back in the day, I feel like Billy West just comes in and does all the voices.
That is why I don’t get those particles you see, clearly driven by their author’s own agenda, saying Toyota has their head in the sand and is somehow holding back progress because they aren’t rolling out 7 BEVs next year and stopping production of the gasoline RAV4.
Unless you want to spend $70k+ on the MDX Type-S. Otherwise, you kind of wonder why you don’t just get a Pilot.
It may very well be a scam, but this also wouldn’t be the first time we see a lazy seller repurpose photos for a car they bought 9 months ago.
I’m with you. If this was some clapped out $1500 heap, wearing “Patagonia Milestar” tires, OK. But this is $17k for a 33 year old 2WD truck. Buy some Michelins.
Yeah, I’m having a hard time seeing 18/25 and thinking that is what I want to sign up for for the next 8 years. Probably would have me looking at a Highlander Hybrid before the Pilot.
I seek out a combination of expected quality and what I want in the vehicle.
A bear in his natural habitat.
Unless you are in first class, flying always sucks.
Just looked at Lease Hackr for the first time in a while. Place seems like a ghost town. Posts that used to be “I got a Nissan Leaf for $5 a month” are now “bought a used car for a decent price”.
Someone with multiple cars who just bought the E63 as another “toy”. Probably decided the kids liked riding in the Range Rover more or something.
It seems like these articles always start from the point of view that “everything must be a BEV...starting tomorrow” and ignores the drawbacks to them and the hesitancy by a large part of the market to adopt them...whether that is price or capabilities. Anyone who isn’t all-in on BEVs is clearly a dinosaur and going…
Right - Last I’ve seen, Toyota is ahead of the curve on battery research, particularly with regard to solid state. Hybrids use batteries too.
You’re right. No T-Tops. Deal breaker for me on a 70's-80's era sports car.
