Someone forgot to get the memo to this dealer. Behold, the $77k minivan (after $900 “processing fee”). They have four available.

How is Uber going to specify what car can be used but still avoid calling drivers “employees”?

His had the gold snowflake wheels, which were referred to as “panty melters”, and got him some action in ‘86 after a Cinderella concert.

I feel like if you can really afford a $100k car, you can afford a $130k car.

Yeah, this is pretty much my ideal daily driver, minus the idea of being able to carry people or stuff.

$70k for a Civic and you let them leave that dealer advertising sticker on it?

Plenty of dealers don’t bother putting their actual price on the website.  Good deal or $20k markup rip off.

As it says, “most”.  That could just mean the Telluride is still selling for over, while everything else on the Kia lot isn’t.  Seeing marked up Rios and Stingers (after they used to sell for $10k off) was always a head scratcher for me.

Closest Z to me (a Performance model) is listed for $72k, or $20k over.

AWD + manual is pretty slim pickings outside Subaru. Maybe there are a handful of 3-series wagons out there with MTs and xDrive.

I’m with you, I just feel like those numbers mean it is ready to explode someday.

The big companies aren’t doing it, but aren’t “gliders” still popular with independent owners? Buy a new truck, but put in a “pre-emissions” motor.

I’m just saying, if you are the kind of person who is resigned to spend almost $30k on a 10+ year old, 100k+ mile Toyota, I’d guess you probably cross shop with a LC/LX/GX/4Runner.

I think you’re spot on with that FJ-style RAV4 to compete against the Bronco Sport. People went nuts for that FJ looking EV show car they had. Take that vehicle, make the EV if you want, but you could also make a hybrid and sell a ton of them.

Besides the “look”, what is the draw of these compared to a 4Runner or Land Cruiser? Is it that much smaller than 4Runner to offer advantages on the trail? I’d imagine on-road, a 4Runner or LC (or certainly a Lexus GX or LX) is a nicer cruiser.

My first car was a ‘94 Oldsmobile Achieva coupe with the 3.1 V6. The coupe wasn’t bad looking.  Pretty basic lines, had a small spoiler on the back for looks.  Not covered in cladding like a Grand Am. Not as ugly as the sedan with the 1/4 covered rear wheel (why was that considered a good look?).  All in all not a bad

Of course not.  But 16 locations in about an hour drive radius of each other is also pretty good saturation even with a large population.

Sure does seem like a “time capsule” in that it hasn’t been cleaned in years.

Just eyeballing it in my area, seems there are VW dealers closer than 20 miles from each other.

I like the RLX, and Hondas are likely good to go until 200k+ miles, but $15k for a 175k mile example at a DC area dealership that advertises “where your job is your credit”? No thanks.
