Wouldn’t be surprising if they were all gone.

The issues with basic controls would be a problem. What is the point of getting the “civilized” car, if you can’t control the HVAC without unintentionally doing something else?
If it allows you to opt-out by not paying, then I’d see that as a plus. I don’t want more Amazon listening built in to my car.
I feel like the random red carbon fiber tells me all I need to know. Plus if I am buying a BMW convertible money pit, it isn’t going to be the worst color in the catalog.
I’m with you. I planned to buy in 2020, but put it off. Then it has been an awful car market ever since. Yes, a new car would be nice, but not if it means paying an over-MSRP tribute to a useless middle man.
Are there any still available for sale that aren’t marked up by $20k+?
I don’t think it is bad looking, but I also know it is ancient under that skin.
Right. How many people are holding their nose and buying those buck tooth M3s and 4-series BMWs because they are BMWs?
I’ve seen more Maserati MC20s than these rolling around (1 vs. 0).
Ignoring the level of effort required to maintain this car for a second, for this kind of money, the car shouldn’t need a paint job.
Brad Wesley in Road House.
Your gif there at the top shows why they’ll never end. Everyone with their phone out, guy in the car wanting to be internet famous. People are going to continue to do dumb stuff, and have an army of amateur “content producers” encouraging them to do it.
While this is in nice shape, it isn’t a particularly special vehicle. They were mediocre when new. Maybe there are 5 people out there who may want a nice one for nostalgia, otherwise this is just a commuter car/nice winter beater.
I mean an F-150 Lightining “Pro” base model is $15k more than a base F-150. I don’t know what the Silverado EV will be priced at, but imagine it will be a similar delta because they can.
NYC isn’t full of real delis that have sandwiches that are superior to any chain restaurant? I would have assumed why a chain sandwich shop wouldn’t be rushing to establish a presence there.
I’m with you. Too expensive to use for “work”. Not nice or special enough to be a show car.
The pool of buyers is small enough as it is. I guess there are cheap rich guys out there, maybe you’d snag a sale or 2. Which for Bugatti might be enough.
I don’t think I’ve seen one BMW where the seller’s excitement for the DINAN parts on it are actually a plus for the car.
And start the countdown until the truly “dedicated” figure out how to disable it. I mean people go through the trouble to not wear a seat belt, why wouldn’t they figure out how to disable this thing?
I can’t swallow the Ridgeline’s gas mileage or else I’d consider one. I like everything else about it. Hell, I’d pick a Honda over a Ford any day of the week.
