You bought it somewhere and then found another dealer to take the delivery? I’d expect any dealer who isn’t making money off the deal to ignore me completely.

You can still come up with a target OTD price and stick to it. Just be realistic about that price.
I was certain if I took 2 minutes to search used Mustangs that I’d find a superior example for similar money.....and I’m not getting there. 100k+ mile newer V8 Mustangs still wanting close to $20k.
I didn’t know they were wood. Figured it was aluminum. Well then definitely NP.
With the “accessories” removed, this is basically just a leaky structure to put in the bed of your truck. If you have to buy a truck too, then just get a van or a wagon or a hatchback. Those don’t have sinks either.

I’ve never heard these having some stellar reputation for durability, like GM Grandpa cars with the 3800.
It is standard car sales nonsense to say “if they are here, they want to buy a car”.
The dealership I worked at was the “small time” (although the brother of a guy who owned 5-6 franchises) shop compared to the guy across town who was one of the largest volume dealers for the manufacturer in the country.
