I’d be signing up for a Toyota Maverick.  Prius drivetrain is pretty bulletproof.  I’d like a Tacoma but have a hard time spending “used Tacoma money” on a third vehicle to sit in my driveway 90% of the time.  I’m not going to use a vehicle that gets fuel economy in the teens to commute to work.

Also had 10' deck boards in my Prius, but can’t put too many in there.

I think the XLR has aged better than the CTS.

200 hp wasn’t bad for ‘93.  Today when you can get a Camry with 301 hp, it does look pathetic.

I caught the last 30 minutes or so of Goodfellas the other day (can’t not watch if I see it on) and while watching it for 1000th time, was impressed that coke addicted Henry is 1) Still starting his day around 7 AM or so (he stops to see Jimmy, then drives to get his brother at 8 AM) and 2) Is still paying attention

Bottom line is that they remain a premium product with compromises in terms of range and “refueling” infrastructure/capabilities.

They were around, although in my HS lot the Grand Prix, Grand Am, Beretta, Corsica were more common.  Throw in the odd Dodge Spirit or Neon in the mix too.

What else is in this collection? Intimidator Edition Monte Carlos and a Chevy Celebrity “Eurosport”?

I’ve seen a coupe.  I didn’t even know what it was, and had to look it up.  I at least saw the Maserati logo on there so I knew where to start.

I feel like a dealer could have a 1989 Chevy Celebrity rotting on their lot and they’d be cocky enough to put a mark up on it.

Can’t wait to see how much “market adjustment” the dealers try to wring out of these.  Probably be the same price as a TRD Pro after they get done with them.

Hogging resources is pretty on brand for the Hummer demographic.

I like the paint and the wheels....that is about it.

Those are pretty close to the bottom of the barrel.  Not just the pointy nose, but the rest of it is just prime 80's/90's GM laziness.

Nissan dealers are the new Hyundai/Kia dealers.  They’re going to milk this car for everything they can.

I saw the blue interior and it made me want the car more.

And if it is like the first tweet NFT, it can now be resold for a half eaten ham sandwich.

It is like the articles complaining the industry isn’t making more EVs that don’t cost $50k+, or manual station wagons. The industry is making what will sell and earn them profit.

Maybe it is because I am not a huge oval racing fan, and American open wheel racing has been not exactly popular in my lifetime, but I’ve never understood why anyone would give a shit about having a “Pace Car Edition” of anything.

Hope this thing has a 40 gallon gas tank or else road trips may be frustrating.
