I’ve been watching GX’s in case I never have to commute 4-5x’s a week ever again.  Sure seems like the market is pricing them like a Toyota truck.  Maybe not Land Cruiser crazy, but 4Runner/Tacoma for sure.

They make Audis without Quattro? I thought they ditched that years ago and made Quattro standard. It is still a base model though, yawn. They don’t make an S4 with a MT?

I have no idea what a proper price is for this, but it is definitely rare, and appears to be in great shape. So lets just say NP for the right collector. I don’t think it would fit in my driveway. Never mind my garage.

Starts at $30k? Should probably say it starts at $40k after middleman markup.

I’m not a fan of the body kit, and if I am buying a 17 year old S-class and all the “fun” that can come with owning an old German sedan, I’d rather spring for the S55 and make it worth the trouble.

The dealers in my area apparently think they deserve $20k+ on top of MSRP for parking a Raptor on their lot, making the truck $90k+.

I believe the current one still has that. So I’ve had AI cars ram me off the track, which I guess means it is in fact learning from the players.

VW’s reputation successfully talked me out of buying a GTI or Golf R for over a decade.

Might be “cheap” but it looks like it has had a rough life. A poorly treated BMW, and not a fun one, isn’t something I’d sign up for.

Not great looking.  Not a great performer.  Not particularly collectible.  Unless you had one as your first car and want to bask in the nostalgia, I’m not sure who goes for this.

The working class clearly aren’t invited to the Super Bowl these days, so this really isn’t a surprise.  I hope the local residents squeeze every cent they can get out of it.

They’re all pretty bad right now. Its fake drama or basically an infomercial for car parts/tools. I mean I guess I’m not the market though, because somehow that “Count” guy has plenty of fans. Why anyone thinks a bandana to cover up receding hair is a good move, I’ll never know.

I thought this was more interesting than most of the “restoration/repair” shows out there. Maybe it is because I’ve sold cars.  I think it only lasted one season, so I guess I was the only one.

Yeah, the whole “drama” thing and the BS with “stealing” the car was stupid.  But watching Foose work was interesting.

The show is 5 minutes of wrenching and 15 minutes of shilling a sponsor.  Then the commercials.

I used to like to read Doug Demuro.  Once he switched to video, I didn’t bother.

Yeah all of those shows are just infomercials.  Last time I watched Stacy David’s “GEARZ” he might as well just shill Cornwall Tools the whole time.

I haven’t watched since Edd left. I basically watched for his mechanic parts.

I didn’t intend to imply the Chevy drivetrain is “bad”, but if you want a SBC, why not just buy a Chevy truck?

90% of the reason to get a Hilux is for the bulletproof Toyota drivetrain. That is gone here, and you’re left with some Frankentruck dually-looking thing with a SBC.
