This article doesn’t make any sense. If you are wealthy enough to own a DB6 and want to drive it into London or Manhattan, I’m certain a congestion charge or a tax isn’t thwarting you.  I’m also sure they can find a mechanic to keep the petrol motor running.

There is a Buick/GMC dealer near me (used to be Pontiac too) that also seems to have largely abandoned their new car lot except for pickups and Yukons (before the shortage).

I was going to say the same thing. I guess if you are tired of the pampered dealership experience at a luxury shop, you can go to the Kia dealer and have someone who reeks of cigarettes and cologne try to hustle you with a four square to buy a Lamborghini.

Don’t forget the “market adjustment” and $1500 “protection package” you’ll likely get hit with these days.

Yeah this seems like it is already available on Hyundai’s website, most dealer’s websites, and also a place like cars.com where a number of dealerships display their inventory.

The fact this thing has a Flowmaster exhaust was already starting to affect my vote, and then I saw that part...screw this guy.

Right. Jeep owners aren’t exactly using their skid plates on a regular basis either. “Offroading” for most of the vehicles means the occasional maintained dirt road or parking in a grass field at a youth sporting event or winery.  I think the Timberline is probably up to the task.

Anything that wasn’t a V8 Firebird, or supercharged Grand Prix or Bonneville in the 90's Pontiac “Driving Excitement” lineup. The whole lineup was supposed to be “performance branded”. There was nothing performance about a run of the mill Grand Am.  The Grand Am GT got mostly body cladding.

Yeah, knock the whole concept of the Malibu Maxx SS all you want, but it was a significant performance upgrade.

I’m with you.  The black wheels thing in particular is played out at this point.

I always thought it was meant for the “beach” crowd.  No idea though.

On a somewhat serious note, I’m surprised Chevy hasn’t resurrected IROC-Z for the nostalgia points.  You know there are some dudes (also in Hackensack) who would love a modern IROC.  Although I guess maybe “IROC” is still owned by someone and might require licensing.

Toyota has “Nightshade” packages across the lineup.  Not just the Prius.

First, this is the best review I’ve read here in a long time.  On to the product.

Yeah I wish I could keep the steel wheels with the higher trim level.

The floor is well secured from the factory though, have to blame the street racers for that.

Does this BS the dealer is forcing you to buy even involve a paint correction? I doubt it.

Personally, I see zero reasons to care for a Ford Tempo or Plymouth Reliant (and my parents had two as I grew up), but there are “collectible” examples out there showcasing that boring styling, anemic performance, and mouse fur interiors like you took a time machine to 1987. Follow NPOND and see the random 70's and

Even better, this is meant for driving in the winter...in Michigan...when you have at least a half dozen Jeeps in your possession.

I think if I were wealthy enough to toss $40k in the trash for “nothing” (there is no value added here, just a dealer simply existing and trying to take your money), I wouldn’t be buying a Corvette in the first place. And I wouldn’t buy a Corvette for $130k.
