Cheap is one thing. Relying on a bar’s bathroom for your “stay” is not worth it. I’d rather have a private bathroom and no bed.

Eh, the ad is from the Seattle area. Those could be pretty pricey houses, even if they aren’t the most impressive looking things. Doesn’t meant the seller lives there either.
Yeah plenty of Camaros and Mustangs were saved from the “180 hp V8" era. Modern Camaros that are legitimately fast and offer great track potential (1LE models) are not going to get scrapped any time soon.
Looks like the “Grand Sport A/S” tire is made by a company called Arroyo. Not what I’d hope to see on a Bentley. Maybe I’d give it a pass on a Nissan Altima with 200k miles and a cracked tail light.
VW is the only brand where I’ve had people who do their own wrenching opt out because despite their ability to fix it, the parts costs led them to determine it wasn’t worth the trouble. Can’t imagine that gets better with a Bentley VW. And Up The Irons.
Yeah, when you tow it to Carmax, I don’t think the offer is going to be very good.
Interesting, just last month they had an offer of a rebate for ordering a car as their website’s main page. Guess they got all the orders they wanted? It looks to be gone now.
Back when these were in their prime, I would say the same thing even as a teenager. Why bother without hearing that V-8?
I had a co-worker with a loaded Durango of this generation. That interior was complete crap. Awful materials, creaky. I can’t imagine trying to sell that as a “luxury” model Aspen.
Sounds like they designed it. Only a $1500 option on a GC L Summit model. Thought it would be pricier...because McIntosh.
McIntosh audio huh? As far as I know they haven’t watered down their still very high end components ($5500 CD players available on Crutchfield right now), so I’m surprised they lent their name to a Jeep’s audio system.
Yeah seeing this is in what looks like a fairly recently built mass produced HOA neighborhood was pretty wild. Are RVs or jacked up trucks that popular that you need a super tall garage on your suburban tract home?
Yes. Seemed like they were buying everything up on the west side of the city to turn into rentals too.
I do, and every time I think about one I say “if they just offered a hatchback....”.
As someone who has lived in 315 and 607, most people probably don’t care about this.
You have to have enough money not to care. I know people with a big diesel bus RV. They don’t worry about the costs too much. They like being able to travel for weeks at a time without worrying about pet friendly accommodations, living out of a suitcase, or eating fast food everywhere they go. If you can afford one,…
I guess I looked at it as cars I could realistically own but wouldn’t.
Do we think DT’s local code enforcement office tracks his column, just let out a sigh, and penciled in a drive by his place next week?
I grew up in Upstate NY, most people there would love to have a beat up old Jeep as a winter rat.
Seeing my Upstate NY state school was primarily NY metro area people, we “real” Upstaters had to stick together. If you can commute to Manhattan, even if it is a lengthy one, it isn’t Upstate.
