I have one too. I can say I have a car with a flat-6...just like a 911!

The AOPA is very effective at lobbying, and general aviation is typically only accessible to the wealthy, so I don’t expect any pressure on them to change any time soon.
I mean it is as simple as banning it. Teams will adapt, no matter what the race series.
She is still responsible for about half of the content here that is worth reading.
I guess I don’t see Miatas beyond being something to drive. Maybe a real Miata enthusiast will want a “museum quality” car, but there wouldn’t be any value in that for me. I’d go look for a newer one for less money to drive on a day like today (80 and sunny here).
Or just a displacement tax like others countries have.
Right, I can appreciate the advantages of an EV. I can afford an EV with or without the incentive. I just don’t want to spend $50k+ on a vehicle I can’t take on a road trip without worrying about being stranded.
Sure seems reasonable given what people are trying to get out of old Broncos these days.
Were these intended to be for potential customers? Did anyone actually sit through these things? This is 11 minutes long. I remember shopping for a car with my parents in the late 80's, no one put us in front of a TV and begged us to watch a video.
The answer is a Prius. It does fuel efficiency and reliability better than any of these choices, and has room for a “chest of stuff” in the hatchback cargo area. Easily found for $18k or under with a long life ahead of them.
Generally I’d mind the markup less if it was from the OEM, and really don’t understand why they don’t want a cut. Same with bourbon. If Buffalo Trace raised the price of Eagle Rare because of demand, I’d be more inclined to pay more than current MSRP. Otherwise, I’m not going to pay a liquor store a premium just…
Again, when I hit the road, I just pray no one totals my car. I do not want to have to buy a car from amongst the overpriced scraps.
You mean like taking an affordable Hyundai and tacking on $30k in bullshit?
I’m with some of these other comments. Never hated the SSR. It is cool that it was built and you could do a lot worse for a somewhat modern Cars and Coffee ride. If you want one, this looks like a great one to buy. Is the price right? Tough to say. Tentative NP if you like SSRs.
What is it with air fresheners by the way? I saw a car the other day (can’t remember exactly what it was), but it was a newer model so it couldn’t be more than a couple years old. It had a cluster of those tree air fresheners hanging from its rear view.
I can’t imagine many of these athletes with car dealerships have much to do with the actual operations. They may have invested in the place (or own the whole thing), lend their name to the sign outside (or been paid to do this), and maybe make a few appearances every now and then. Otherwise, Russell Westbrook plays…
What else can I buy for $65k.
Dealers in my area don’t seem to be afraid to advertise that they want to try and rip you off with markups.
Saw a sweet 1993 Cutlass Ciera on Craigslist the other day, only 70k miles or so.
