Hollow Knight is a $15 game that’s better than a lot of $60 ones I’ve played.  Never managed to finish it (I’m generally not great at games like that) but thoroughly enjoyed what I did play of it.

These days Kaizo romhacks tend to use infinite lives and instant restarts (similar to an I Wanna Be The Guy / Celeste type game) which SMM2 doesn’t really allow for.  If nothing else I suippose creators could put 1-ups on the checkpoints for the kaizo levels...
