My uncle used to work on the ramp at Sea-Tac, and unloaded an Enzo from a cargo plane once.

Still enjoying Destiny 2, but not sure for how much longer. For being something I didn’t pay a penny for it’s quite enjoyable, but anytime I try to do a strike I always feel like I’m holding the other two players back, and I think I learned back in the first Destiny that I should probably just stay out of Crucible…
When my brother got married, the bachelor party was basically hooking up 4 Xboxes, getting a bunch of pizza and doing a big multiplayer Halo 2 game.
There has been speculation that the new Epic Universe park being built at Universal Orlando will include something like this.
My Dad used to watch a lot of races while I was growing up (mostly NASCAR and IndyCar with F1 thrown in when it was on, but he stopped watching those after the ChampCar/IRL split) and I picked it up from there. These days he mostly sticks to F1 and an occasional NASCAR race, but I tend to prefer the IMSA stuff myself…
One game I might add to the list is The Binding of Isaac (originally released in 2011, with Rebirth released in 2014.) Not necessarily the first of the modern “Roguelite” games, but probably the one that has had the most influence on what has now become a pretty crowded genre, and it’s a game replayable enough that…
I’m guessing it’s a somewhat similar situation to when ALMS was founded and operated by by Don Panoz, who also ran cars in the series and owned the Road Atlanta and Sebring tracks. Then again, the Panoz cars weren’t generally all that competitive in the ALMS field, at least not to the extent that the Penske cars are…
My rankings of the Disgaea games, coming from someone with way too much time in them:
I think that figure includes the machines and tooling, which are probably worth far more than the merchandise.
There’s not much I can do when I haven’t bought a single Activision game in years already.
Increasingly, it’s looking like the “right” response would have been to never do business in China in the first place, but it’s far too late for that. A Faustian bargain has been made, and the payment has come due.
Downloads on battle.net seem particularly slow and unreliable for me. I tried to download Destiny 2 from there last year when they offered it free at BlizzCon, and after several attempts I think I made it about 40% through the 75+ GB download (which kept getting interrupted by the system going to sleep) before giving…
If I play anything it’ll probably be either Destiny 2 (still fairly new at it) or Minecraft. Maybe also some Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+, although that would be more experimenting with things / tinkering with game mechanics than actually playing.
The classic rock stations here in Seattle play grunge now, which seems wrong, but a lot of it is local so it makes sense.
My top 5:
Based on what I’ve seen of it, playing games on Twitch and YouTube seems like a pretty rough way to make a living. In particular, YouTube’s algorithms for recommending videos seem to punish a content creator severely for missing a day of uploads. One medium sized streamer/YouTuber I warch on a daily basis got sick for…
So basically, we’re the ones in Vault 76?
Something tells me that historical accuracy isn’t a big priority when you’re not even bothering to follow the Laws of Physics.
Not particularly.
I think the Jackbox games are pretty much the only thing my wife and her sister will play now, with Trivia Murder Party being the favorite by far, and Earwax probably being our second. I’d love to see another version of Earwax with more options and more sounds in it. When I asked the developers about this at PAX they…
