The price of the Brazil-made PS3s is still close to USD $600, so they're still paying through the nose.

Yes, I could not imagine Playstation doing something like this back during the Wile E. Kutaragi era.
The Retron 5 (whenever it comes out) seems more interesting to me because it has HDMI support. I did try out one of the Retron 3s recently though, and had a lot of trouble with the wireless controller. not being very responsive. I'll probably get something at some point, but I'll have to see what they look like in…
Shouldn't this post be titled "Sims 4 Disaster Watch"?
I agree with several of the others that the Torgue DLC is the best of the bunch so far. Captain Scarlettt was OK but nothing too special, and the Hammerlock DLC seems to require a backpack full of orange weapons (which I simply don't have) to get anywhere in it.
It's interesting to see where these end up. A couple of years ago, I was on a cruise that stopped at Grand Turk in the Caribbean with my parents and brother, and we decided to rent a car to wander around the item. The car that we ended up with was a 1998 JDM Toyota Corolla which still had various Japanese…
On NVidia's site, there's a handy graph that shows the relative performance of various GeForce cards compared to each other. For example, a GeForce 650 performs roughly as well as a GTX 275 (although the latter doesn't support DX11), and is slower than a GTX 460.
I suppose they could always manage even worse than that...(See also: Wargasm)
Apple doesn't get $30 every time some kid sees a nipple...
Well, that and being about as entertaining as dental surgery.
Hmmm... If this thing isn't too horrendously priced, I may have to seriously consider getting one to replace my current MkV Rabbit/Golf (which is still quite a nice car in its own right, it's just not a GTI.)
Yes, this one's a great track. I've only done it once (when I was there for the Grand-Am races a few years back) but I quite enjoyed it.
YOU'RE WINNER!
The only weapons someone can "Buy" in the game is their mech's level 25 prestige weapon (which requires getting to level 25 in the first place) and a handful of option weapons, none of which cost more than the HC you can accumulate in an evening or two. There's also a good chance someone else is getting that same…
Not true. Every mech and every weapon/functional part for every mech is purchasable with in-game currency if you play enough. Only purely cosmetic items require paying real money for them.
None of the functional upgrades for any of the mechs (or any of the mechs themselves) require paying real money for them. Theoretically, you could (eventually) get any mech with any parts with just HC if you played enough. The only items that absolutely require MC (the paid currency) are the purely cosmetic ones.
On one hand, I'd really like to have it on something that can actually handle it (performance on the iOS and Android versions is pretty so-so,) but on the other hand I've already bought tables on the mobile platforms. Oh well, guess I'll be buying it a third time...
Ironically, I just bought another copy of this movie off Amazon earlier this week (I had a DVD, but seem to have lost it somewhere along the line so I picked up the Blu-Ray.) Guess this means I'll have to watch it now.
The randomly placed saw blades are probably a bad idea.
