I can confirm that I had to do the same thing. Couldn’t add funds via PS3, so I added them via my PS4. Sony eventually removed my ability to do this via PayPal for some reason, so now I would need to use PSN gift cards to get funds now, which is pretty annoying.

I don’t think Sony ever said it was a launch title, at least I don’t remember it. They always said it would be “soon” after launch. Considering how hard it is for people to get their hands on PS5s, a few months after is still pretty soon. Even the other article linked above from last August says “launch window”.

Some people call off for Call of Duty, others for GTA or something like The Last of Us. But *this* is my shit right here. Gonna have my self a nice little time.

*looks at current state of the game*

I’ve seen some people point out that it’s possible one of the other studios that helped with the game - maybe Beenox? - could pick up the slack, but Vicarious Visions has been turning out great games for years so it’s both a bummer that they won’t be making another Tony Hawk game and that they won’t be leading any

This is a damn shame. THPS 1+2 was essentially a perfect remake (outside of the missing songs and singles tours at launch) and personally, helped me a lot through this pandemic.

I had really hoped they’d be the ones helming the franchise moving forward. What a waste.

No illusions here, for sure. Just....fuck, man.

Check out Raised by Wolves. It's messy as hell and weird as shit, but he's got a great role in it.

I think it needs more than just some QoL upgrades. Sure, you could make inventory management easier and the UI a lot clearer, but is that going to fix the AI running around like a bunch of idiots? Or the copy and paste environments? The generally boring planetary exploration?

I think tweaking the gameplay so it is more a shooter might help ME1. It’s rough to be aiming great and using FPS skills and miss continually because of gear and the RNG. And managing gear was such a chore...

Well met, kindred spirit!  That’s awesome!  I want to dig out my PS2 just so I can try that!

Haha! YES, the main reason I still think of this game is because I LOVE to imitate that voice! It wasn’t just THE BOUNCER that was fun to say in that great announcer voice, every name just rolls of the epic tongue. To this day, some college friends of mine will call each other and simply say:

Unlike Xbox One/Series X, most games have separate PS4/PS5 trophy lists.

The people that created Andromeda were originally the team that created maps for and maintaining the MP for ME3.

I generally do something similar. I like to begin playing with a few side activities, and when I start to get bored with that, go tackle the story until I come to a good stopping point for the night. Then repeat the following day.

I like your thinking on how you approach the story/side content balance. I try to do the same. The new AC is a good example and somewhat helps with this, because the sagas/arcs of each region are relatively self-contained, giving you nice break points. There are some exceptions to the rule so far — and a slog is

Speaking of being chased... I have to say Valhalla is WAY more forgiving about this than Odyssey. I have both installed and had to remind myself how things were in Odyssey after playing some Valhalla. Getting noticed in an enemy fort in Odyssey basically puts every last person in that fort on you like a bloodhound

The zealots and the legendary beasts can be really difficult, especially the zealots with the giant shields that block every attack you try. The one skill I got that made it manageable was the dodge slowdown (in the yellow tree, called Brush With Death). Every time you dodge just before an attack lands, it slows down

The latest ACs are fun, but you kind of have to shut your brain off when it comes to who you are killing. Odyssey had you alternately killing Spartans and Athenians and then facing really no repercussions with either faction for doing it other than obtaining a bounty you could pay off (or murder your way out of).

This is always the kind of thing that scares me. Not being banned for selling something like that — it seems like a stupid idea no matter which way you look at it. But the amount of control these companies have over your games is ridiculous, and you never quite know when you’re doing something you may get banned
