Had the pleasure of meeting him at Comic Con a few years back. He had this warm, pleasant nature to him that was immediately apparent. It was a pleasure to meet the man behind the voice, get a picture as a memento, and talk to him about Arkham Knight (at the time I think it was just a few months from release). This

Dont forget about the Regenerators....

Some of the recent NFS games have been decent, but I still wish Criterion could make a total remaster/remake of Burnout 3. My gf bought me a copy for my PS2 slim, first time playing it again in years and it was SO much fun.

Paradise was fun too, but it’s not the same at all since it went open world.

Some might roll their eyes and think “attempt at a Ghost of Tsushima knockoff” but I find the setting to be very interesting. Something set during the decline of the samurai, and also it even shows the Perry’s black ships arriving. Gives me a big vibe of Rurouni Kenshin. Knowing Team Ninja it definitely looks like the

I’m very interested if this game will indeed return to some classic AC gameplay and themes. Hearing the tenets of the creed spoken and the setting, really do give you those AC1 vibes. So I expect it could almost feel like a spiritual sequel to AC1 but with modernized gameplay. Heck, even the guy training Basim there

It was some pretty good post-launch support. Almost too much, but there was some quality stuff, both in paid DLC and also the numerous free ones. In fact, Forgotten Saga was some of the best fun I had in a while with the game. Wouldn’t be opposed to a small spinoff AC game that is just using that kind of gameplay

I’ve been on Kotaku a *long* time. To me, Fahey is one of the final members of the “old guard” (along with Plunkett), part of that first two waves of Kotaku writers. I’ve seen Crecente go, I’ve seen McWhertor go, I’ve seen Owen Good go, I’ve seen Totilo take over, and then go. It’s been a long time, and Fahey was

Pretty cool, maybe I’ll check out the folders. Never used them before on PS4 or PS5, but I might look into it. A few updates ago, in the library section of the homepage, “My collection” was the first tab, but now it’s the second. Minor, but irksome to me.

Also, I want to stop getting notifications when my friends join

It should be noted this is one of PSN’s bigger seasonal sales, meaning it’s a two-parter. So though the sale runs until 8/17, most of the games (maybe all of them) are on sale until 8/4, then the second batch will roll in.

So just a heads up to anyone like me who will procrastinate a purchase (for no real good reason),

Ignoring the not great argument about NG+, I think replaying God War 2018 is a great idea. I plan to do so very soon, just to immerse myself in the world and atmosphere again. My girlfriend had also bought be a very awesome hardcover artbook for the game which I plan on flipping through again as I go through it.

Most of the major first-party IPs from PS2/PS3 era have gotten remaster treatment. Sly Cooper, Uncharted, God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, and probably others I can’t think of. I agree, it’s so surprising inFamous 1+2 never got in on it.

inFamous 2 was so much fun. Would love to see a slightly beefed up

When you just finished Bloodborne and DS3 in the last year, haven’t started Sekiro yet and don’t plan to touch Elden Ring for at least several months after that…

I’d been dying for some way to replay the original since my PSP is long dead, and it had inexplicably never been ported/remastered.

Was kinda hoping for an update on Mass Effect 4/whatever it will be called. I have no doubts it’s going to be a 2023 game at the earliest, maybe even 2024, but from that first teaser, I was greedily hoping for something else soon.

I find it weirdly funny that of all the games shown at SGF, this is one of the ones coming out the soonest (just one week), but it’s not up for preorder, at least not on the PlayStation Store as of this posting. I can’t speak for the other digital marketplaces.

You can preorder The Callisto Protocol, a game releasing

Cam Clarke is such a great voice actor. I’m still kinda really bummed to this day about Metal Gear Solid 4, because that seemed like such a big deal for him. Obviously so much time has passed and I can easily be mis-remembering details, but from what I recall, they decided to go with the Ocelot voice actor over him

Man, been really eager to replay TW3, some of the best few hundred hours I’ve put into an open world game in a long time. Been waiting on the upgrade but I guess it’ll be a longer wait. Oh well.

I’m still slightly amazed that with all the crossovers they’ve done—and now two Fire Emblem ones—but they have yet to do Final Fantasy Warriors or whatever it would be called. And Square and Koei-Tecmo have already collabed with Dragon Quest.

By the end of the game, the combat definitely waned on me a bit. Tactically, yes, it’s pretty simplistic, but I did get at least a small amount of satisfaction from recognizing situations where the fire or water spell would be my go-to, and adjusting on the fly.

Ahahaha. That’s perfect. Great, clever touch with the chocobo.
