So he’ll be “stepping down” pretty soon, I would imagine.
I still prefer physical in some cases, but this gen I’ve made the commitment to go slightly more digital than previously. I’ve found lately that it’s not unusual for me to switch between 2-4 games a day, so part of it is the laziness of not wanting to change discs as often. That said, there are still other factors…
I’m fairly excited about this game. Hearing it will be 2022 is a slight bummer, but I can wait. Looks like a lot of fun and reminds me of one of the TMNT games on NES that I played as a kid.
I don’t think I’ve played any Bethesda developed games, but have played Dishonored 1&2 which they published but were obviously made by Arkane, and I think, at best... have some mild connective tissue in terms of gameplay/controls? A tiny bit?
Somehow I never played Skyrim. I might have gotten it for PS3 but then it was so widely reported how broken it was at launch. I’m pretty sure old Kotaku even reported it was so bad, that if you did too much content (side activities, exploring, quests, etc.), the PS3 savefile would balloon to an absurd proportion and…
Strange, they have posed almost no threat to me as I’ve played so far, and this includes a mini-boss type you can encounter as a “Mystery” in the open world. I’m usually not a “git gud” kind of person, so maybe it’s just high-level gear and having played the vanilla game nearly to 100% and therefore having tons of…
Well, this news certainly makes me grimace...
I’m glad the studio didn’t buckle and try to rush to conform to expectations. Expectations mind you, that Sony put out there shortly after last year’s E3, when they claimed Forbidden West would be a 2021 release. So I’m fine looking at it, not through the lens of “oh no, disappointing delay!” and more in that they’re…
I take umbrage at bemoaning these statistics like they’re shocking, or that players aren’t going outside the box enough. It doesn’t shock me at all. Lots of morality games tend to have clear choices for those who want to be unambiguously good or bad. It also seems clear to me, most players will generally choose good. T…
Yeah, that’s a small part of why I haven’t played either in... probably at least 6+ years now. Afraid the age would really show, especially in the first game. I think mods helped spice things up last time I played (was KOTOR II, specifically), but yeah, I’m eager to see if we get a nice remake soon.
A Dead Space remake isn’t all that surprising, and is fairly in line with EA’s new strategy of Capitalizing On Nostalgia. Earlier this year, EA released Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, a bundled package that included remastered versions of BioWare’s popular sci-fi series. The long-dormant Skate series is eventually…
No-fun police: WELL AKSHUALLY...
Wow, so much wasted real estate. Really so much space for such
a small amount of text.
I didn’t even know the Fabricator had a “decent” chance to drop legendaries. The few times I used it, it seemed like it was a really low chance, but that was a while ago, like base game era.
If nothing else, I’ll definitely be carefully evaluating things for the next main entry BL game, whenever it comes out. Maybe the Tina game will at least be a fun shakeup in the meantime.
I do think the next main entry BL game does need some “big changes” though, so it’s good you’re thinking outside of the box. I’ve had some thoughts like that myself. Perhaps similar to yours, I always thought it would be cool if they brought back a few of the older gen Vault Hunters to be playable again, with revamped…
Man, we are in the exact same boat. I took a bit of a hiatus late last year so I could focus on other games in my backlog (which was productive), but then I also saw the Season 2 pass on sale like you, bought it, and finally decided to jump back in. Now all my stuff is worthless, haha.
Yeah, I spent a lot of time after this post thinking about what my “plans” were going to be going forward. I think the most important thing is, whatever fun I get out of the game personally, is what I should stick with. And at least with the Cartels event back (which I enjoyed), I can still have some fun. Grinding…
