Yeah, when I was younger, Gust of Wind was that “barometer” so to speak. I liked Lavitz/Albert a lot so I was dedicated to learning the timing. When I finally did it, I knew I could do the other ones, like Dart’s later additions. Man, so rewarding and satisfying.

That whole bot thing really is infuriating. I don’t get how some people defend it.

One possibly underrated thing is that I hope the controller feels perfectly comfortable in my hands. Covid meant a lot of time indoors this year, and I used it to catch up on a LOT of backlog games, PS4 and PS3. Going back to the DualShock 3 was so weird. It’s not bad per se, but when I went back to my PS4 and the DS4

This is probably my most anticipated game right now. Like others though, I’m a bit nervous about a 2021 release when this was the lightest of teasers. Unless we see actual gameplay in the next, say, 6 months, I’d imagine there will be a delay somewhere along the line, but fingers crossed!

Looks like Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, and Amazon each did and sold out their preorders already. I’m assuming there might be a second wave, hopefully, especially with the above promise. There’s a few other places to try too.

I need to look into this Godfall game a bit more. It looked semi-interesting when they showed it a few months back, and I like Gearbox, but... hmm, I dunno.

That said, I will probably switch to only buying digital from here on out, since I doubt there will even be an option come the PS6.

Makes sense. That’s more overhead than even I imagined. Again, it was a longshot in my head.

The more I think about it, the more Digital Edition, convenient and cheaper as it is, does not make sense for me. I have too many physical games and even if only 20% of them experience this “Boost Mode” for PS5 to get better

I was holding out slim hope that for the digital edition, Sony would come up with some way to “redeem” your physical games digitally, like some sort of upgrade program or what have you, even if it included a fee. That doesn’t seem to be the case, and this PS+ Collection seems to be a in a small way, an answer to that.

Still no clue when we can preorder though?

I think you’re totally right! Wow, I probably had those cards too then at one point. Yeah, I think you filled in the gaps there. Wow. That’s crazy. Amazing the link between memory --> senses, etc.

I think I’m experiencing a very Pavlovian phenomena here. I look at that art/cover and I faintly taste the sugary sweet taste of pink bubblegum on my tongue. I can’t 100% remember why, but I feel like there was some game-branded bubblegum at convenience stores back when I was a kid.

If you want to excuse bad writing, go for it but stop responding to me. I don’t give a damn. Those are really bad excuses. If you are Snyder’s best friend, brother or whatever, I don’t really care, but you’re not doing a good job of making excuses. My favorite film maker is Martin Scorsese and he has made his share of

The cartoon also shows him actively trying to save people though. The movie did not.

I mean sure, but he also makes zero effort to safeguard any citizens whatsoever. To that some might say “ok but Snyder is doing this grittier take on Superman where he doesn’t owe anyone anything, he’s got more attitude and blah blah”. But then Snyder tries so many times to cash the “he’s such a savior/hero” check

I can totally see that being the case. Would remind me of how Metal Gear Rising was originally supposed to be set before MGS4 and explain how Raiden became a cyborg ninja but they changed it into a sequel instead.

Yup. That one little detail would have helped so much. And you can tell how much they realized it and tried to correct it with BvS. “They’re on Ryker’s Island.... and it’s uninhabited!”

Sadly, I’ll take “Superman is evil because x, y, z” over Zack Snyder style “no I swear he’s a good guy!” as he rips apart 30 skyscrapers killing thousands of people. At least with the former, you know what you’re getting more or less.

Was a little confusing because (Arkham Knight Spoilers ahead, just in case) “after the apparent death of Batman” sounded like this was leaping off of the ending of that game, but you don’t get a not-paralyzed Batgirl in that scenario so I knew something was up. So just coincidentally this game is starting after a

I wonder if that rumored Court of Owls game is still a thing? I love the idea of a non-Batman Rocksteady game, but at the same time, I would eventually like to go back to the Arkham universe again, and the time since Arkham Knight now feels appropriate for a new game.
