One of the very few silver linings of quarantine, it’s been great. Since March I’ve gotten through Horizon Zero Dawn, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, FFVII: Remake, Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered, Assassin’s Creed: Liberation Remastered, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault, Ratchet and

You could convince me that this is the cover of a cereal box. The style, animal mascot, and all the colorful shapes.

Yeah you CLEARLY don’t get it. Please end this conversation. I’m asking politely. Please go away. You are not contributing.

Ok, nevermind, dude. You don’t get it.

Sure, that’s easy for digital PS4 games, but many people likely have a lot of physical games. Myself, I can say my library is probably 80% physical so again... what is the workaround?

Ooof, Brotherhood is way, way, way too low in my opinion. Brotherhood and ACIII are my top favorites, and could go in either order as 1-2.

Horizon sequel, Spider-Man standalone with Miles, new Ratchet and Clank were so good, but God of War 2 would have made it go from great to amazing to me. Ugh. I really hope that a sequel is no more than 2.5 years away.

I’m really confused by the canon/chronology now. Are these games still part of the RE1-6 canon? Because Chris being there raises a lot of questions to me. I admit I did not play RE7 because a 1st person horror game was a big nope to me in terms of anxiety and etc.

Yes, I definitely get an Uncharted: Lost Legacy vibe here, but it looks like it could still be extremely robust, and the open-world still lends itself to a lot of gameplay. Story-wise though, perhaps it will be shorter.

At first I wanted to say that PS4 had zero scalping issues because the market was absolutely FLOODED with PS4s on eBay, all of which could not sell for more than like $20 over at most. So that would be reassuring.... But factoring in those “bots” you mentioned as well as perhaps lower production than the PS4 due to

Very awesome overall! Ratchet and Clank, new Spider-Man with Miles (though I love Insomniac’s Peter Parker too), new LBP, and some fresh new IPs, a lot of which were really interesting! Ghostwire, Little Devil, and that Godfall game all have my interest piqued too.

Hoo boy. She is a hell of a talented actress but it’s hard to imagine this in my head. As far as fantasy-ish characters go, I think of Hela in Thor: Ragnarok and she was good and acceptably hammy in that role. This I just can’t visualize at all. I guess we’ll see? /shrug

Hopefully my “data” wasn’t interpreted the wrong way, and I’m just one of millions of players, but I purposely “saved” some of the other characters in BL2 to play as later. I just love that feeling of having a fresh character, the anticipation of that next skill point, seeing your build slowly coming together, just

Lots of great info! Looking forward to pretty much all of those things, though I do have a tiny concern with just one item. I kinda hope that the Norse gods element will be implemented in a more unique way. I remember the “gods fights” in Origins and that was kinda fun and unique, but doing the same thing in this game

As soon as PS2 to PS3 remasters started becoming common (and now PS2 to PS4!), this has long been one of the games I’ve wanted to see get the upgrade. It was just a really great time, man. Even the tiniest thing like being able to hop off your board was cool.

Hangar 18, Blood Brothers playing. Memories...

True, true, I’ll give you that. That does indeed make it very unique in that regard with a bittersweet type of ending with the Ahriman evil god being released after all. Now that just makes me want to read the “Good Job Breaking It, Hero” page on tvtropes lol. I’m sure this game is on there.

Exactly. If they want to say Remake is changing things around and it’s another universe/timeline/etc. then fine. That doesn’t mean that Crisis Core cannot still be enjoyed as a literal game, regardless of continuity! Give us what we want, damn it!

I would be interested in a new, slightly updated take on the older PoP games, for sure, but I’d also still love a sequel to the 2008 one. It was a nice departure from the formula but still very fun and whimsical. If I recall there was a DLC add-on that had some strong implications toward a sequel but alas.

Exactly. Not to put down Type-0 HD because I played it and enjoyed it (I just didn’t get super into the story), but I think Crisis Core deserves a remaster waaaaay more.
