As much as I love everything about Super Mario RPG and its level of replayability, its story is fairly by the numbers and less-than-exciting. Is Thousand Year Door by the numbers also? Sure, but the rest of the writing is SUPERB. And then you add in the intricacies of combat like Stylish maneuvers, Super Guarding,

Prettyyyy sure they covered that in the article with the NeoGAF poster, given the similar names...

Is it just me, or is The Division’s commercial make it feel extremely... generic to anyone else?

Microsoft wants me to upgrade to Windows 10, but I don’t want to upgrade to Windows 10. If that means I can’t play locked down stuff that requires DX12, then I guess I’ll just live without playing them.

And how much of the Ultimate Team figures comes from the shady dealings that previously went on with it?

This post is missing one CRUCIAL element in favor of Charizard: FIRE SPIN. In Red/Blue/Yellow, trapping moves were broken as all hell because they prevent the trapped target from attacking while the attack hits multiple times. And, Charizard’s not exactly slow, so Fire Spin often hits and stops opponents cold.

Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde are kinda stepped in Norse Mythology already. (Which, given that they will presumably incorporate the new Zygarde stuff into the games in the future and the speculation that this might be a “Gen 2" to X/Y (there’s a topic on r/pokemon that brought it up), possibly even featuring the areas

Except you can apparently only transfer R/B/Y VC Pokemon to Pokemon Bank and then to Sun/Moon, not X/Y/OR/AS. And, the Pokemon Twitter account called Sun/Moon “the next era”. Seems like it’s leaning towards a move forward and not a lateral move.

The UK version of the page for Pokemon Bank states that they can only be transferred to Sun/Moon and that Pokemon from X/Y/OR/AS can be transferred in the same way. (Seems to be the indication that this is a “new generation” or, as the Pokemon Twitter account put it, “the next era”.)

I’m not going to vote on the Fates polls since I’m not playing it, but I’ll cast my vote as a comment in general. I’m pro-Permadeath, even if I think there are problems with its implementation. There’s something satisfying about clearing chapters without having a unit die - there’s no real fun (for me) in charging one

I don’t know if I can get the costs for everything that I’ve bought extra times, but I can at least get my list:

Yeah, seriously. There’s *nothing* on Serebii’s translation that says *anything* about it being a legendary. Just because its name is in the title of a movie doesn't automatically make it one (see aforementioned Lucario and Zoroark).

Except OR/AS already breaks some compatibility with X/Y when trying to trade or battle between the sets. See: Primals, new moves that aren’t in X/Y’s code, the new Mega Stones. Possible and done before, but not necessarily what they'll do again.

Already aware of it. Unfortunately, as of right now, when it releases, we won’t have any possible ways of playing it and understanding anything. SRPG Studio, the tool that Kaga is using, produces a standalone project file with no way to see any of the assests/text/etc., so even if the community wanted to do a fan

At this point, I simply don’t care any more. I’m over the series. (And before you cry foul that’s it’s about the “censorship”, it’s not. I don’t give two licks about that.)

Not just ice cold - freezer burn.

Even though Cryamore was listed for release, what, two years ago now(?), at least Rob and the crew have been showing consistent progress and giving updates. Plus, as Zyker said, Atlus is publishing it now, so we know it’ll be out eventually. (Besides, I think we can all tame ourselves waiting for the majesty of Bliss.)

I’m very much okay with this from the “people playing something without buying it” part, but I do think we’ve seen many instances where things like this have had their place over the years. Just consider all of the games that were absolutely broken by publishers’ insistence on draconian DRM, games which would have

And they want the average person to take VR seriously. (I don’t - I think it’s as gimmicky now as it was when the first steps were taken in it.)

Don’t forget that at the end of Bendis’s Spider-Men “crossover” Limited Series from several years back that when Peter Parker returned home after the adventure, he proceeded to look up the Miles Morales of Earth-616 and that not a single thing has followed from this (yet)...
