Honestly, I think the “praise” being heaped upon the 3DS for its Virtual Console selection is pretty incorrect, especially when you realize that the LAST release for it was back in FEBRUARY of this year. We haven’t had any new releases on the Virtual Console in 9 MONTHS - they’ve SOLELY been for the Wii U in that

It’s cute that Twitch thinks that something like “improved whisper functionality” is a higher priority than fixing their broken system of defaulting every non-partnered stream to the highest damn quality option available.

If I wasn’t busy destroying my ears to OC ReMix’s new Final Fantasy IX arrangement album, I think I’d celebrate by playing the definitive version of Grandia II again. (Shame that GungHo’s recent PC port still isn’t up the quality level of a game from 15 years ago.)

And yet Google would rather waste everyone’s time with pointless UI changes on YouTube instead of fixing actual friggin’ problems that should have been addressed long ago.

Hey, at least the first one’s available on Steam. (And it’s a good port, too.)

The lack of quality options for viewers of regular, smaller streamers is the biggest problem, and Twitch’s “excuse” for their lack of fixing it is completely asinine. “Oh, it’s too bandwidth intensive to generate all of these other quality levels, so we don’t do it.”

I hear tons of people talking about Splatoon, and it always sounds so interesting. Beyond the fact that I really just can’t justify spending money on a Wii U for basically just 1 game (and that I have a huge backlog already and I rarely have time to game anymore), the other big concern I had before the game was coming

I am perfectly okay with this development. I’m tired of the most recent version of Firefox telling me DAYS after updating Adobe that it wants to prevent Flash because it’s outdated.

“It makes me a bit worried, like the big budget side of the gaming industry is flailing, trying to attract customers it’s lost to mobile or free-to-play or any number of other services by any means necessary.”

Mann vs Machine kinda killed any drive that I had for TF2 back when it first launched - I played TF2 for team versus team gameplay (well, on a good day when you weren’t playing with a bunch of idiots that just ran around doing whatever they wanted to) not for co-op PvE content. Now, I haven’t really been much of a PC

As Grandia II is arguably my all-time favorite game that I’ve played (not just RPG), unless GungHo manages to screw up the remaster somehow, I’ll definitely be picking this up.

It shouldn’t have that glitch, unless the remaster accidentally does something that makes it happen, considering this is using the far less buggy Dreamcast version as a “base”.

I dunno, I think the people they got for the majority of the roles were pretty talented in their own rights... I mean, just look at the voice cast and their respective individual credits.

As much as I appreciate Harry Friedman's (vast) improvement to the current situation, I feel like the easiest solution to the problem is just the simple sub-channel that he does mention and then basically jumps away from in favor of DVR like features.

No, I think you're misunderstanding me - I'm meaning when he got his third outfit, which wasn't space-based (the second one was the space one). It was basically a more fleshed-out plane mode, yet he frequently still used his original outfit after he got it.

I always hated when Ace McCloud would use his first outfit after he got the non-space upgrade later on - why use something inferior?

"Unfortunately, at launch, the overall quality of the game was diminished by bugs and unexpected technical issues," Ubisoft Montreal boss Yannis Mallat wrote in a blog post today. "I want to sincerely apologize on behalf of Ubisoft and the entire Assassin's Creed team. These problems took away from your enjoyment of

How about a better, even simpler suggestion: Maybe Game Freak should, you know, get with the 21st century and INCLUDE DIFFICULTY SETTINGS FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME.

...Because Game Freak isn't patching X and Y for compatibility with OR/AS...?
