And 27 years later, they are still repurposing those Mobile Infantry costumes for every single mid to low budget sci-fi movie and tv show.

I’m with a few of the others here. It’s against the rules, but as long as you aren’t surpassing the actual possible limits of what a Pokémon should be I find it hard to call it “cheating” specifically.

“Got it! Mobile remaster with terrible graphics.

Oh man, I work in a card shop, and the number of phone calls I got from people who had the complete set of these in 2021 and thought they had struck gold is wild.

“Do you buy the McDonald’s Pokemon cards?”
“Nope. They’re barely worth the paper they’re printed on.”

The fact that Yuru Camp isn't on a top wholesome anime list is A TRAVESTY

Elaborate, pre-rendered backgrounds now look blurry and smeared”

HACK THE PLANET

I'm a huge fan of this genre, and while Phoenix Point is very much a clone, it's just not great fun gameplay wise. I would have love to have seen Mutant Year Zero on this list. Great concept, fun setting, challenging and rewarding. Definitely better than PP or Gears tactics.

I’ve got to disagree on this one. If it was just ‘we hacked in to prove we could’ that would be one thing, but this was explicitly for the purposes of extortion.

Unironically one of my all time favorite movies.

No mention of Valkyria Chronicles, which was the game everyone said XCom was most like when it first released?

apparently the odds of getting a Machamp in a booster pack was 0:1. Machamp was exclusive to the 2-player starter set. actually the first half of the sheet were the rares that were put into the preconstructed decks.

I would be excited for it if the NES and SNES online libraries weren’t 80% garbage.

Are corporations (e.g Stellantis) good?

WTF is “Ask a question?”  What happened to the comments section.  Its ever more fucking broken now.

Kira is Space Jesus; Char is more like Space Moses.

Did you read the article?
Reverse engineered code is not piracy. Also, to be able to play GTA with this code you still need the original game.
Reporting on developers making unlawful DMCA claims is certainly important, which is what this is really about.

I saw the headline in my RSS reader and said to myself “Well, the fun really comes when you play Skies of Arcadia and get the tip off you’re about to have a random encounter in the skies when the disk drive spins up” and well the whole article was about this and I feel happy.

legally speak, I thought reverse engineered source codes where in the clear from stuff like this? stolen code is one thing, but reverse engineered, I thought was another? anyone know for sure?

There seems to be A LOT of bad press on this incredibly valuable industry and I do not feel that it is justified, all we are acting as is a middleman for limited quantity items.
