Him and Lena Headey look like they'd be so much fun to drink with. I also have a deep and abiding love for Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister).

Yeah but I don't think anyone's talking about the 10 people out of an entire wedding party who are putting considerable thought into a personal gift, nor would anyone turn down such a gift and demand cash. I'm talking about 90% of people who are going to get the standard depersonalized wedding gift fare or just…
THIS. I don't understand why these wedding money envelopes haven't caught on here. I honestly believe deep in my soul that if someone is offended that a couple would rather have money than 10 crystal serving bowls after their wedding, he/she is a self-important twit. Gifts, by definition, are not about you.
That SUCKS. I hope you are taking time for self-care :)
No, I'm not that young at all. My grad experience was also more than 5 years. Not saying that my office experience was rainbows and kittens but it was so much easier to not take anything personally. And when I wasn't working, I wasn't caught up in thinking about my job every second of the day.
I've had both and office jobs don't mentally break you down in the same way from my experience.
This advice is even more desperately needed in grad schools, than in office environments.
I totally agree about her take on feminism, and that's why I don't like her. But that's not what the author seems to be mocking/attacking here. She's making fun of her Princess Sunshine Sparklepony (best. phrase. ever) persona and her general naivete just to make her look stupid, which seems redundant at best and…
Thank you. I was about to put his speech through google translate to try and make some sense out of that ridiculous shit. It's not just that what he's saying is stupid but he's phrasing it in a near incomprehensible way.
She really irritates me but this NYMag article just seems mean. God knows what stupid shit I said about how to live life when I was in my early 20s. Why pick on her?
I saw Frozen, I wasn't impressed. If this is the best movie that Disney has done since Lion King (what some critics are saying) that's fucking sad.
Whew! This guy is never moving to Vancouver. We're safe ladies!
But the people disagreeing here aren't "forcing" it on our entire sex. We're disagreeing that there is anything 1) interesting 2) innovative 3) praiseworthy, about this cover. Please tell me what is so empowering about showing your ass in a way that directly imitates what two other female rappers did well over a damn…
Um, most of the women who have a problem with this seem to be black women and women of color. And they are commenters who know their history, politics of respectability and all that. Not every criticism of raunch culture / female nudity is destined to throw us back into the era of black female 'respectability'…
I'm not sure anyone can hear your logic over the cacophony of "exhibitionism = agency" and "choosing her choice".
Ok, but as someone with really tight hip joints....#5 has made me stop before.
Word! Once a week feels like a total hassle even. My poor hubby :( The meds don't really help either. Honestly though, I've found that we have a kid most sex is when we're both dead tired. I'm stressed as fuck and basically compromising to keep the peace then it turns out to be absolutely meh sex for the reasons…
17. If you're an actress, are you any good at it? [NO]
How can you hate Ghomeshi? He has the best intros!
"Lets be completely honest here, even many of the so-called progressive Etsy and Pinterest surfing, mason jar using white liberals who claim to be above race still feel unsafe in the presence of black people."
