In my experience Deloitte indeed actually sent multiple 25+ year olds as developers. Many of those developers were 3rd party subs. There was only a HR type Deloitte manager in the building, more like a client relationship manager at that time.

Well the corp. where I worked for some time ago is the biggest IT firm in the area with 1000s of computer science grads in house. They hired Deloitte consultants for some new projects. OK. That may be, but the point I am making is these big brand named faceless companies don’t know what the heck they are doing.

I have worked with Deloitte software consultants before. For the amount of money I think they bill their clients, their consultants are meh at best. They are not even full time employees of Deloitte. Sometimes they sub it out 3 levels deep and bill top $ to gullible corporations.
