Electrical issues can cause some weird stuff. My examples are my old car from high school/freshman year of college, and a similar car owned by one of my brothers around the same time.

Growing up in a very small rural Iowa town, the choices of mostly-reliable, affordable used cars could be somewhat slim. Thus why I

You tightened the viola? I guess that's important too.

My father Honda Accord prestige 88 once had a problem where the front lights suddenly turned off when the car climb uphill and back on when it drove downhill.

I had an ‘84 Prelude (this was in early 2000s and it had almost 200,000 miles at that point) that the fuse to the taillights would blow every time you honked the horn. That was just one of the dozens of problems with it, but none were mechanical; it ran like a dream.

I bought an Alfa Romeo from my father. I knew that the car had shown an intermittent electrical problem, and the main dealer had spent some time trying to find the problem, without success. When the problem manifested, various accessories such as the wipers would not work.

Right here. I’m perfectly willing to admit nor am I in the slightest bit disappointed that I was wrong.

Can you just imagine all the meetings at Chevy when the Supra became official? The maniacal laughter must have been deafening when they realized they were gonna punch that in the face right out of the gate. Also, RIP modern NSX

Almost looks like a sky net.

What a difference that EMAS system makes. Last time this happened @ BUR passengers ended up at a Chevron station and the rest of the country was forced to hear unfunny jokes about airlines and gas prices...

I assume you’re also in favor of getting rid of all the subsidies for the gas and oil industries as well? Their subsidies dwarf those given to renewables and EVs.

ISF truly is a gem, and though I’ve only owned mine for about a year, I love it more than my previous 20 cars, most recently a G37 6 speed sedan. Allow me to share a few more reasons:

What it’s supposed to look like:

Considerate lane splitter here. Not a unicorn.

Lane splitting is safe even at higher speeds as long as people signal properly, not necessarily advocating it at 100 plus though. People who collide with splitters almost always either don’t signal or signal improperly.

That’s understandable.. But if you signal properly he won’t try to split you in the first place.

Hey riders, not all of us cage drivers are big of asshats as this guy.

Yeah because God forbid someone whowas previously behind you gets to their destination faster than you. Lane splitting eases congestion on the highway, you should be thanking motorcyclists for doing this. Of course this guy is an asshat, but not because he was splitting.
