I think the thing that floored me most was the transition of the Japanese narrator from Japanese to a perfect English pronunciation of "Bayonetta" at 0:30. In all the anime/movies I've watched, I've not once heard a name anglicized and pronounced in perfect Anglo Saxon tones... My guess is the narrator either speaks

So, months ago we receive an announcement of a Shin Megami X Fire Emblem game, Index, parent to Atlus a.k.a. the SMT guys has trouble financially. Nintendo forms an "unprecedented" partnership with Sega in order to make Sonic: Lost World which, in its own right, isn't really THAT "unprecedented" of a relationship,

Seems a bit of a stretch, especially considering the only thing under the display was that PC and the keyboard. I'm well aware of what game builds are "capable" of and that such middleware could exist, but it sounds more like you're trying to save face since I did state what was under the display already, and your

"it's if the unit is actually running some of the games we've been promised or told have been running on the platform"

"The demo was being played on PC. We had it running on XboxOne as well to show press"

To re-iterate, the point of the OP was to point out that not all games, in particular some promised exclusives, have shown actual games on the Xbox One yet. I don't doubt for a second that there are games running on the Xbox One, either complete or incomplete. The thing that would be nice to see as final confirmation

So I guess the PC inside the box was just there for show right?

A great read about great people. The Treehouse is full of awesome people all around :)

The question isn't whether or not the unit can actually run games, it's if the unit is actually running some of the games we've been promised or told have been running on the platform. I can confirm first hand that the PAX demo of Titanfall was actually running on a PC, not an XBox One, so that is still one game that

Unless you could touch and follow the chord out of the unit and into the TV, I'd say it is still inconclusive...

I can confirm Titanfall was running on PCs with 360 controllers attached.

Ever been to Big City Burrito? They make a 3 pound burrito called the gutbuster. I took part in a little speed eating competition among 9 other contestants (got 2nd place) and did enjoy it for the 5 minutes and 7 seconds it took me to eat it. I still prefer Chipotle a lot more (their corn salsa is so fantastic), but

Still more portable than the CPP attachment, and it doesn't have to be INCREDIBLY precise in size. How well it's positioned depends on you really, and I doubt it would be 20 bucks. Even if it were, it would still beat the CPP in portability and not needing a battery to use it. Not saying it's better, as I already have

Actually... a surprising number of games actually support the circle pad pro, but not all of them are games you might expect to use or need it for. Aside from the obscure, the only games where a CPP really shines IMO is Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

This might be my favorite interview response of the year so far.

Gah... I absolutely loved those games, but my least favorite part was the Little Mermaid world. Why did they have to remind me it existed in that trailer?

Silly console wars. It looks like Penello glossed over the part where Chmielarz turned on cruise control to awesome and said "WHEN DEVELOPING" in reference to the speed difference. He didn't really say one way or the other about which console has a finer finished product, and all Penello played were simulated finished

We'll see if their $500M purchase of Gaikai really pays off then. Meanwhile, nVidia Shield lurks in the shadows...

This is a pretty standard hockey stick sales curve. Consoles, handhelds, and games all see a pretty standard hockey stick trajectory... this isn't particularly shocking or new, and when you look at it from the perspective of cumulative sales, you will see an ever increasing mountain with several plateaus representing
