I love this picture...
Bravo! You've proven your trollhood! Welcome to the internet, where personal opinion and generalities are absolute truth!
"Nintendo has a unique controller that is hard to port for"
"But lets be honest here. If we dissect generation gaps in terms of processing and gpu power, then the WiiU is more like a Wii 1.5, and will not hold up well against the technical specifications of the Xbox1 and the PS4"
"Third party developers (Activision, EA, Ubisoft, 2K, etc) don't want to spend the time/money it takes to port DOWN an existing title they are working on for only the Nintendo demographic"
You know, it is sad how many ignorant people keep spouting this "not next gen" crap when the very nature of a "gen" (which is short for generation, in case you were missing that, which it seems people like you do) is an indication of following and improving upon its ancestral predecessor, which in the case of the Wii…
Argument? I wasn't aware that breaking the law was up for debate...
Wii VC would beg to differ. Only a matter of time before the big N does N64 VC on Wii U as well... your pirate sympathetic remark is digusting
I've heard this same argument before, but the main draw to stick with Wargaming.net is the connection to my World of Tanks experience, which is already fantastic. It isn't exactly fair to say World of Warplanes is definitively worse though, as it hasn't been on the forefront of their development until recently, and…
About the only reason I see this being appealing is for the ability to take it to local LAN parties, even if you're plugging it in when you get there for your all-night game session, the portability of a powerful gaming machine is nice, and is its biggest selling point.
Looks very pretty. I wouldn't go so far as to say they have a whole "world" of tanks though, as the lowest tier (in WoT terms) I spotted was a 3 with the SU-76 (although it could have been the T4 SU-85B) and the highest I could see was a Tier 8 with the King Tiger or Tiger 2, the Ferdinand, as well as some possible IS…
You have missed the point, your logic is flawed, and your viewpoint is narrow.
Ironically, your position that "to chalk it up to simple preference is lazy" is actually closer to the real problem. You see, in Anita's videos, she deconstructs the games and highlights a trope, or common theme seen throughout several video games, something that often begs explanation. This explanation is often done…
You DO realize that Nintendo has no control over which Best Buy stores would like to participate right?
Mine spent most of its time playing Smash Brothers Melee... If I still had it, that is what it would still be doing, but now I have my Wii for that.
Thanks! :) Have a star for going the extra mile and being personable.
ME TOO! Honestly, I feel they peaked at MOO2, and while I COULD do the VM thing, I like that GOG keeps the install in a tidy little package with DOSBox already integrated.
Sadly, of the people I've seen take your suggestion and make video responses, they tend towards using logical fallacies out the wazoo, making it hard still to get decent discussion out of the topic.
Not adding more games to the list, but I just had to say I LOVE MOO2, and glad it was the game of choice for pulling the screens for the article :P It is the sole reason I signed up for a GoG account.
