I'd recommend the Dread Coffin, as it provides a heal, heal + antidote, defense boost, and infinite stam. The major downside to getting it and its upgraded horn is the fact they both require lots of Gigginox (low and high ranks), and I hate him >.<

I found the Hunting Horn provides that satisfying blunt trauma in addition to support songs (like OP infinite Stam and heals) and from what I've "heard" via youtube vids of people playing is that the HH actually has higher sustained damage than the hammer.
