Nope, I got a 3, its grey, and the windows do have a light tint. I was convinced I should buy it by my Thai friend. It was probably a mistake, soon to be switched for a tacoma. The orange taco supreme perhaps?

I absolutely agree, this is just a small gas station in a small town. Best case scenario, the residents save a couple of hundred bucks a year. Worst case, they get a new mayor, and have to make do with a smaller beauty pageant, or whatever they spend money on. Cheers

Government allowed private control, not ownership. You could sell your share of a coop, and you couldn't loan against it. After perestroika, things weren't so soviet or socialist. Again, that was the whole point of perestroika.

I'm not sure what your point was, but I suspect your sarcasm detector is malfunctioning today.

Might want to call them and ask. It wasn't their store, not in the legal sense. The distinction was pretty meaningless out side of major city centers.

It's not socialism until the state outlaws private competition.

Were you under the impression that any one side has a monopoly on screeching and outrage?

Why would anyone have an opinion that isn't progressive and liberal? Do they want to be ignorant, racist, bigots?

Kindly re check your sources, I don't believe USSR had any business owners of any kind. Department heads, leaders, managers, yes, but no actual owners, at least not during the true soviet times. There were some shortly after the revolution, but Stalin put an end to that, and some after Gorbachev, but that was the

Of course, that a long way to go from a single gas station in a small town. There is only so much trouble that can possible run into.

Here is the problem these schemes usually run into, especially once they start scaling up.

Or cry whatever you want, freedom of speech and all that stuff. But yeah, the socialism cry is BS.

No, thats Fascism.

I don't think any of these examples are actually socialism, with the possible exception of Military/ coast guard. Paying for stuff with taxes isn't socialism. Banning private ownership is.

And RWD please?

I suspect that is not the case, since costs are somewhat difficult to calculate, and city government tend to be notoriously bad at it, but you could of course be right, in which case it would be a government operated gas station, and still not socialism.

In that town, yes. Also, everyone that pays taxes in that town is subsidizing the gas of every person that buys at that station. If its really cheap I imagine it includes some number of out of town-ers.

The residents of the town, with their taxes.

All paid for by lots and lots of oil.

Yes, its punished by loud screeching and outraged name calling.
