I was with you until the short semi comment. I've been a part of a convoy several times where a truck would tow a flat bed trailer with a horse trailer hooked behind it. This combo can be maneuvered in reverse over pretty serious ruts, but that takes a better driver than I am.

I find there is nothing out there that people enjoy more than telling someone they are a no-good-shit. It's an urge that needs resisting.

The point you are missing is that people who take joy in shaming are assholes.

Its hard to tell who is the bigger asshole.

Police are taught to control the scene above all else, which leads them poorly equipped to deal with situation that cannot be controlled. Take this one, where the police are clearly outnumbered by potential aggressors, yet the aggressors are not interested in picking a fight with the police, but rather prefer to fight

Was there a math portion to that test? Because I have a theory that needs testing...

To put this in perspective, if it was possible to replace every passenger can in America with one of these, overall CO2 emissions would drop at most 10%.

Must have been scary for the officers, in a way that a good commanding officer could have completely avoided. If police insist on acting like a military, they should consider training like one.

Wha? Was I the only one that thought that all the V's would have Vette engines? I was expecting a ZR1 powered caddy.

How long before that's not true anymore either?

That makes sense, but it completely give up on a nationality of a company. It basically means that in any say Toyota dealerships all the vehicles are of different nationalities.

I have a feeling that over the life of a vehicle, 4wd may well be cheaper than snow tires.

The earliest nannies seems to have done the most good. ABS is far more useful than TCS, collision detection system might prove to be revolutionary, but haven't been around long enough yet.

Not for mountain biking. You could buy a decent saab for what a single outing will cost you. Not to mention how silly you would feel carrying a backpack full of explosive scarves.

I'd hate to even sound like I'm defending the guy, but why is he the most despicable out there? Wasn't there some article about a woman that ran into a bus full of kids a while ago?
