I have never owned an off road vehicle, and probably never will, as I tend to lean towards paved fun. However, out of the off road offers, the FJ is my favorite. My inner kid grin every time I see one, it's like a full size toy truck! And it has 3 wipers! I'll miss it

I nominate Moab, Utah

I don't buy it. If track conditions could not be consistent, they could have arranged to run multiple manufacturers in the same session. They could have closed the ring for a single hypercar event, complete with some silly rules they would endlessly argue about. But they didn't, because they don't want to compete, and

Just a quarter? I've always named my cars and motorcycles, my wife always named her cars, and most of my friends who like cars name theirs as well (In fact, if you don't like car's, you are probably never going to be more than an acquaintance to me). I really thought that most everyone named cars, save for people who

Its a 58% increase, which is pretty massive. Instead of whining about how unfair life is, try double checking your math, and maybe you'll find life a tad less unfair.

10kmile/25mpg*$3.25/365days=$3.56/day

What is this, I don't even?

I was puzzling over how one would try to operate that while trying to drive fast, and then remembered an old motorcycle which had two twist grips, the right was throttle the left was ignition timing. Taking off from a stop required some careful work of the two grips, and you better be able to rub your head while

Try not to think of it as a car, but rather a plan that can transport itself from an airport to a somewhat faraway hanger with ease.

I understand the logic behind cutting Pontiac, what I don't understand is why that logic did not apply to GMC. At least the Pontiac looked differently than the chevy's they were underneath, so the "it's a different image" argument could carry some weight.

I don't know if it was the worst, but the Canadian Buick laCrosse was probably the funniest

Maybe that should be that way, but it isn't. People have gotten DUI on horses, riding lawn mowers, and for sleeping in their cars before.

Am I the only one that thinks that maneuver did not test the nimbleness of a car? It good the the driver was paying attention, but from the looks of the video that could have been done in an f150.

When my wife was pregnant, I made it a point to never let the tank drop below half, just in case. I wondered at the time how that would work with an electric vehicle. "It's a fast charger honey! Can you wait 20 minutes?"

From what I've read, neither are any of the other signers.

But we didn't sign the Kyoto! How can there be reductions without treaties?!?!

For instance, Ford has reduced the number of battery cells — which together comprise a battery pack — in its hybrid vehicles from more than 250 in the last production model of the Escape hybrid (discontinued in 2012) to just 76 in the new C-Max and Fusion hybrids. But increasing efficiency of the battery is only part

What? No! Oh maybe in an existing engine, that is already in a car. It costs very little to change the bore and add displacement. It doesn't cost much more to make a 90mm piston than it does to make a 80mm one. As long as you don't add cylinders, or change their spacing upping the displacement is cheap. True, mpg

I guess I'd rather they make a smaller Z than a small/less powerful non-Z which will help push the Z into an even larger and heavier territory.

I don't get it. Building a 300hp engine cannot be much more expensive than building a 200hp engine. So why have the same power output as your competition when you can have 50% more (or 25% more)?
