I agree it's a Civic, though not the model you posted. Look at the kink in the back, above the back wheels. It's present on the 96 Civic but the 92 Civic is more smooth. That and the hatch is much lower than on the 92 model compared to the window.

I get the impression that you're making the assumption that the target area has not been cleared of civilians, though no mention of civilian casualties are made in either this article or the one it has linked to.
