That's just batshit crazy. I really can't understand the logic behind switching off the lights. Why on earth would you do that? So you don't blind the driver in front of you through the side lights? I think I'd rather do that if it was me.

What the what? Can you run that by me again? They turn off their light, and if they don't see any lights they assume it's safe to pass? What kind of logic is this? What if there's another bus doing the exact same thing coming in the opposite direction? How many millions die in this country every year in traffic…

The Simpsons EV looks sooo familiar. Where have I seen this before, unrelated to The Simpsons? I think it was a cartoon, possibly on cartoon network in late 80s or 90s

The more recent stuff? Never heard about that. Is it an animated series? Part of the charm of this show was the models the used. Which never really makes it look dated (of course I'm not completely objective in this point of view).

This summer I was in Vegas with a buddy. We flew from my home city to Heathrow and then to Las Vegas. On the return trip our flight was delayed by 2 hours and so we missed our next flight. We landed at 5 PM and were told we'd get a hotel for the night because there were no more flights going to my home city that day.
