Had a Focus ST, would sit on a two mile long hill that would take 20 minutes to clear in evening rush hour, wouldn’t get to fully let out the clutch the entire time because traffic was moving so slow....bought an auto, everything is better now.
I sit in SoCal traffic every day in a manual car, about an hour and a half each way. Don’t want to crawl into a dungeon. Would buy another.

Back when I was a teen there was a tractor pull where one guy had a three engines on his rig. (I was not enough of a gearhead to know what type) He was getting ready for his run and revving up, making as much noise as possible to the cheers of the crowd. Suddenly all three of his engines just blew, everything failed…
Kinda, what the current Tube Frame trucks are capable of is amazing, but I do have a soft spot for that generation of Monster Truck as well as pullers. It seems that the modern stuff doesn’t have the character of the old stuff.
Am I the only guy that misses when monster trucks were actually trucks? I get that you can’t do what they do today with a steel body but I dunno those trucks seem so much cooler that what we have today
