That’s freaking horrible I can’t even imagine what Robby & his family will be going through, I lost my dad naturally but losing both parents at once.

It’s about a prominent race car driver, I’m willing to bet someone cares. I mean, even you read the story. Plus, what’s sensationalist about this? They simply reported a story.

Not too familiar with Gordon’s parents (beyond his dad winning the Baja 1000 a couple of times.) But unless it was his step-mom that was the 57 year old female they found, I don’t think that would be her. Robby is 47 years old.

So sick of the “they wear out in 5000 miles” bullshit.

To be fair, a $40+k car isn’t exactly an economy car.

My god, he tripped the dead man’s switch by reaching out his hand to touch the ship.

You’re talking function and practicality, I’m talking style here.

How much more juice do you really need?

Major style points for using lights instead of those hideous looking LED light bars.

This post is skookum as frig.

This really highlights all that “value” the car dealers tell us we will lose with the Tesla model.

Go for it. ;)

To me that just shows that he doesn’t think he was doing anything wrong and from my perspective probably wasn’t. If you are paying for the trade in you want to make sure there are no major issues.

I don’t want an RS.

Every appraisal is going to involve a hard acceleration, as well as hard braking, and torquing the trans with the brake pushed. They have to make sure there are no issues

Maybe your dealer should quit putting out ads saying you can get a $70,000 Tahoe for $400 a month.

Do you know how dashcams work? They just turn on/off with the car. So there’s no leaving it on. You could unplug it, but why? If you are going to do something in my car that requires privacy, I don’t think I want you driving my car.

True, I mean the way I look at it, it’s kinda like leaving an audio recording pen in the meeting your boss has with his higher up after you ask for a raise or after review time. Sure what they say may or may not be nice, but technically your not supposed to hear it and that’s why its behind closed doors.

Plus one of the dudes doesn’t put on his seatbelt and also doesn’t get that it would make a noise because of it....

The sales people are clueless about cars and overall hate their job, the perspective customer sounds like a douche, I call the thing a wash. I have found every interaction I’ve had at a dealer to be confrontation, any shred of decency shown to me by a dealership seems like water in the dessert. I’m typically well
