Strange how they would use male animations in cutscenes but that would explain a lot. The hunching over randomly is the one that is most jarring.
"Hit the gym" is always good advice, and in this case, it might solve both of this guy's problems.
It is hard, and I don't think it helps that Mr. Sakurai has to be a micro-manager as the series gets more complex and he gets older (he's had health problems!).
