Wow, this is one of the most well put together and presented pieces I've seen on Kotaku. Well researched and thought evoking. It reminds me of Danny O'Dwyers (although more comical) escape from Mount stupid on Gamespot. Especially the investigation into Religion.

I really wish Kotaku would tone down on these 'going against the grain for the sake of argument' posts. I mean yes, if they're well thought out and actually add to intellectual debate about a controversial subject then sure, post away, give me an insight into why I should feel differently. That guy is so hard to buy gifts for.

The Wii was hardly forgotten when the PS3/360 came out. It continued to sell to the market it attracted best, families.

I think it's going to be thematically similar - in a similar vain to the Final Fantasy games.

Every single time Family Guy is mentioned:

I think it's the right decision. The main problem I had with Bioshock 2 was that rapture wasn't mysterious and creepy the second time round - sure it was a hell of a game but that feeling of curiosity juxtaposed with vulnerability was lost - because a) I already knew what rapture was, what to expect and b) I was a 6ft

Is it just me who felt the current generation of games was really good but the consoles were just really bad?

Koreaboos?
