Are reviews not doing the ‘What I liked/ Didn’t like’ summary pic any more? I am lazy enjoyed the pic for a quick summary while still omitting the flaws inherent with number scores.

I always wanted BotF to get a sequel. Star Trek really lends itself to a 4x game. The closest you can get now is the Star Trek New Horizons mod for Stellaris.

This game has been having so many speed running breakthroughs I almost wonder if they were put in or hidden in the code intentionally. 

This guy reminds me of far too many online gamers (or maybe just a vocal minority). I’m glad there are people who act with actual sportsmanship out there.

Why is it Geno in particular? They don’t own Mallow and the other non-Marios?

Someone should sue 2K for their new game launcher which affects game performance so badly its nearly unplayable. The launcher also affects their old games which when I bought them it wasn’t there. I assume it is some poorly implemented DRM software that requires constant online monitoring of even single player games.

In game design the real stars are the developers you don’t see. When the core team changes the identity of the game changes more than if you change the face of the characters.

The first thing that title made me picture was actual beef growing around the fan exhaust ports of consoles and PCs. If game tech could do that I think we would be on to something.

Some people do have problems with game addiction the same way some people have problems with alcohol addiction. Addiction needs to be addressed on a case by case basis. I feel like imposing strict generalist rules isn’t going to solve any problems but will probably create new ones.

That was my thought as well. If there wasn’t any money being exchanged at the tournament I would think it would be hard for them to legally stop it.

Sadly there are much worse baby names than Game Pass.

It always feels like these type of games (F2P, gatcha) just deteriorate into increasingly shameless money grabs until they start hemorrhaging players. Then they either have to try to expand their base (they rarely take this approach) or milk the remaining players for all they are worth before shutting down.

Yes. While I love pixel style it wasn’t a great fit for his art, so seeing a modern game (with all the physics of flowing hair and clothes and such) with his art style would be very interesting.
