Says a lot about the self-awareness of anyone spending consistently on it.

And all for a game that is, to put it very simply: fucking awful.

Honestly it is just sony being lazy. translation layers are prett simple. especially when you have sdks and source code at your disposal.

The price is actually pretty damned good given the hardware in the headset. The problem is they made it a PS5 exclusive accessory when it REALLY should’ve been considered a separate platform of sorts and released for the PS5, PC, and phones. They could still have PS5 exclusives, but they really needed (need?) the VR…

The biggest thing for me was backwards compatibility.  Has it ever been explained or is there a theory as to why the new headset is not backwards compatible?  Camera system?  Lower resolution required to support PS4 games?

I’m a HUGE VR fanboy, I use my Quest 2 near-daily, but man, the PSVR2 just doesn’t have sufficient software to make me want to buy one. Horizon and the Until Dawn Rush of Blood follow-up both interest me but not $800 CAD interest me.

Like many, I loved this game and FF7 as a kid. I hate what was done with FF7 - splitting the game into three parts and changing the game mechanics. Not to mention taking so long to release the game - it will take over a decade for the game to come out in its entirety from initial announcement.

Just give it to us as a HD-2D title and don’t fuck up the font this time. If they want to go beyond that, should go all-in on the pixel art IMO. The writing lets it down, but look at Sea of Stars’ visual presentation for inspiration, that game is absolutely gorgeous, that’s more the direction I would want a Chrono…

I know this is a deeply unpopular view among FF fans, but FFX is a drag. The random battle frequency is WAY too high, most of the main characters are somber and dull (when they’re not being outright obnoxious, I see you Tidus and Rikku), the minigames are interminable, the cutscenes are endless, and the story is bound…

All they had to do was remove the bullshit assassin/animus plot and have a ballpit of 30 interns create too many missions. Maybe have a couple guys work on economy. Instead, we get this.
