I don’t think anyone buys these because they actually want them. I think they are just speculating that they will be worth something in the long run. However since no one actually wants them (other than more speculators) then those prospects are pretty grim.
I’d appreciate if more games like this had an offline mode built-in for when the server inevitably shuts down.

As someone who has put a lot of hours into online Smash, the netcode is just the tip of the iceberg of the things wrong with the online. The majority of it has to do with bizarre player-unfriendly design decisions.

It actually wouldn’t be so bad if they would give some more variety to the fighting move options for Mii fighters. Also they shouldn’t lock aesthetic options to a particular fighter style like they do currently.
