@CaptainJack: Thanks for the tip, I hope someone can update that greasemonkey script so that it will work. I found uk.kotaku still worked but it didn't help gizmodo or lifehacker.

Been following the development of this game on bornes blog for a while so I'll clear up some things that people have been saying.

@mark.p0rter: If you can live with mostly headlines and no commenting m.kotaku.com is the place to be. it at least still has the mobile look of the old kotaku.

@thehouserules: I just checked it out, and I'm not too crazy about it. I don't like that it doesn't display the time it was sent anywhere but at the top. and the lack of the aforementioned live preview for webpages. and I just didn't like the overall lack of options.

misreading the headline made me think of a TD game which could have different seasons as the game progresses and weapons ( and maybe enemies) unique to those seasons. Right now I don't think I could ever switch away from Twidroid because I'm in love with it's image and webpage previews! I seriously get annoyed when I click on a tweet on my computer only to realize I actually need to click the link to see what it's going to be.

Actually you don't need to pull the Sim card at all! Just throw it into airplane mode and turn on the wifi and you'll be able to do it.

Loved this feature! would like to reiterate a suggestion I read from a commenter on one of the articles, you guys should keep this going with the community afterwords. Have people send in what they use and their favorite tricks.

I have just recently gotten the captivate and am loving it so far (my first smart phone so its mostly a positive experience). I've been trying to hold out for an official froyo update rather then root it.

@pkmaster1: That would be awesome! but since the 3d camera is on the outside with the front facing camera being 2d i don't think it will happen.

@eddiemonster: I just tried out this app because of lifehackers suggestion, did you choose the polling time? i have mine set to every 5 minutes but could choose every minute.
