Amazon has a lot of the high-end phones for merely a penny right now (with the 2 year plan of course). I just ordered a Samsung Captivate and a Samsung Focus.

I buy new because I want to support the developer and because any games that I buy I want to have a nice copy of, not some scratched up used copy. But most of the time when its not a really great game that I'll love and want to support, I'll just rent/borrow it.
