Thank you. It was a cold air funnel, wasn’t it. The funnel would pull super cooled air down from the higher atmosphere flash freezing only the areas the funnel touched. Plus, the funnels only lasted a few minutes before dissipating. It’s not like all the air everywhere had reached sub zero temperatures.

I’d add Here Be Monsters to your list. It’s really interesting stories about events that changed a person in some way - it could be anything hair loss to an encounter with death. It’s really good stuff - like the best bar conversation you’ve ever had.
