That's not really a conspiracy theory. They do that in the open.

I'm seeing a very clear theme here with "affordable", "cheap", "small", "sub-10k". Seems like the biggest hole in the market is just cheap cars.

Yeah I'll trust Tom Wheeler as soon as he steps down. Until then I'm going through everything with an extremely skeptical fine-tooth comb.

I came here to post this and was not disappointed that it's the first on the feed. Where I live the craigslist market for old small trucks is quite strong.

"The essay is a pretty good read in of itself"

Here here!

I quite like your explanation, but if you're laying down this kind of cash with the insistence that you're getting something out of it that a computer can't do I think that paragraph explanation is in order.

While I think it's pretty cool, this fella uses an awful lot of head-up-your-ass, holier-than-thou, I-can-hear-things-you-can't, audiophile bullshit terms. Like "richness" and "fullness" and "depth". But then when put to the test, can't tell the difference between $1000 wires and coat hanger wire.

Um, didn't giz already do this in August? I'm pretty sure they did because that's why I ended up buying this: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B007FHX9OK (it's pretty fantastic, by the way)

No, I won't. But if I refuse to be defeated by corruption, maybe we all will.

I paid for it to be much, much bigger.

I was so stoked about this until I read that it's a concept at an auto show. I'm more impressed by fake cars in video games, honestly. As they have a better chance of getting made.

There is 2 in my neighborhood, and my neighborhood is really small, so I see them all the time.

I would not drive anything, as I would not be allowed to live.

I'm guessing they are just stealing a normal number of cars but because it's Portland they just happen to all be Subaru.

my phone does not have WiFi calling, but I use Google Voice and get calls via hangouts on my computers. Thankfully, I am not very popular and do not get called often enough to make this luxury an inconvenience.

I have T-mobile and I don't get service at my house. But at least I don't have AT&T with a perfect signal. That would be worse.

I have T-Mobile because of their more consumer-friendly business practices and really good customer service. It is the only carrier that doesn't work at my house.
