Don't knock it until you've tried it. Shaving is by far my least favorite part of getting ready, but I would go for in for a shave everyday if I had the time and money. It involves a reclining barber's chair (I hope to have a barber's chair in my man cave some day because they are so nice), hot towels, facial

I pay $15 for my shave, and I thought that was on the cheap end. I know of other places in the area that charge closer to $30. I love getting a shave the way my wife loves getting pedicures. As strange as it is to say it, a shave is one of the most relaxing experiences I have had.

Also, I love when people like Dervish_Twirl jump into a thread to be a pain and nobody responds to them. It really is more entertaining then seeing people calling them out.

What always bothered me about the "McKenzie" type names is that they are almost exclusively girls, yet "Mc/Mac" means "son of." On the few occasions that I have seen the name spelled without two capitals letters, I have no complaints.

I am making fun of the parents. Why would you assume otherwise?

My aunt and uncle had unusual last names and my aunt would always tease that at least she could get married and change her last name. When she finally did, she married somebody with an even stranger last name.

That is probably the worst possible outcome I can imagine from this type of movie.

Tell me about it! I am a real estate attorney in an area that, back in the 1800s and early 1900s was heavily German and Scandinavian. The names that you see on those early documents are insane. My favorite so far is Tallack Tallackson.

I haven't seen the movie, so I can't agree or disagree with you, but sometimes, all that people really want from a movie is the spectacle, and I would imagine that GIANT ROBOTS FIGHTING MONSTERS would be all the spectacle they need to be entertained.

I can't really throw stones as I have what could more traditionally be called a "unique" name. The only difference is that my name is a family name going back to my great grandfather, is a traditional name, and, while I am aware of other people with the same name, I have never actually met one.

I believe so

The "unique" name thing is getting out of hand, especially since everybody uses the same "unique" name. The local highschool's basketball team has 2 boys named Jace and one named Jase.

That is assuming that the water heater continues to heat the water. If it doesn't the water can become stagnant and it is a common breeding ground for the bacteria that causes legionnaire's disease. https://www.osha.gov/dts/osta/otm/l…

I believe that every telling of the story I have read has treated Fenrir as a pretty terrifying beast through and through. Fenrir agreed to be chained each time because he wanted to show off how strong he was and he was convinced that he could break the chains. However, the last time, he was suspicious because instead

Based purely on something that I read years ago (but which does make sense), a dark/navy blue is actually better for blending in at night than black because no matter how dark it is outside, it is never really black. A black silhouette would stand out whereas dark blue would blend in.

How about Neil Gaiman's Bay Wolf? A Baywatch style version of Beowulf.

I think you bring up a point that a lot of people overlook in the spanking debate. I rarely see anybody define what they mean by "spanking." My parents spanked me on occasion, but it was pretty rare. They also used open hand three to five times and stopped when I was still pretty young. My wife's parents used wooden

I would watch the hell out of this if there was a local competition.

American football is actually a pretty good choice. I don't watch in often, but the 1-2 games I catch every year are enjoyable. I also got into MMA very recently.

Having just viewed the pictures on this page (not the source page), all that I see is one picture of Mole tinkering with a simple machine. The other pictures are Toad and some stoats with unnecessary and extraneous crap. That seems to me to fit right into their characters.
