I don't know about anybody else, but I wouldn't be too upset having to watch Married With Children reruns for the rest of my life. Now, if it had been Two and Half Men, I'd be scared.

It is much better. I mentioned in another post that I had kale chips for the first time in the last couple of weeks and now cooked kale goes into just about every meal we can work it into. Out of curiosity, I had some raw kale and instantly regretted it. Give kale chips a shot.

Absolutely! I just had my first taste of kale chips in the last couple of weeks and they are absolutely delicious, and I am not a health food nut. Then I reached into the bag and grabbed some raw kale. I will not make that mistake again.

I am currently in the same boat as you. I always want to learn some kind of new skill like this, but I can't justify dropping so much money on tools only to have spend even more on supplies on a hobby that I am not even sure I will stick with.

I see things like this and have a really strong urge to make one for myself, but when I look into it, the parts and the tools needed to do it usually work out to be more than I think the product is worth. I was really stoked about building my own arcade when I finally had a garage, but I found out they could easily

I never really "moved back in" with my parents, but I did live with them over the summer during my first two years in college and then one summer in grad school when I took an internship in my hometown. I also lived with them for about two weeks when my lease was up on one apartment buy my next apartment in a

Not quite on point, but in the same vein, in The Tick, the main character spends part of the first episode tearing apart Arthur's apartment trying to find the (nonexistent) hidden switch that turns the place into a secret superhero lair.

When I saw that, I thought they were going to get a little trippy and start looping the .gifs list on us.

The problem with that is that it worked really well for Bubba Ho-Tep. Had he not made that movie, people may have caught on that he was being facetious, but now, we really could see a movie with Bruce Campbell using a walker while fighting undead monsters.

Probably about the same time that Dexter's Lab became a classic cartoon. I'm not one to worry about aging, but it does kind of get me when I hear a band from the 80s on the classic rock stations.

That's assuming that you don't get killed by one of the other books first.

19th floor classroom. You know, the one taught by Ms. Zarves.

You beat me to it. I checked to see if anybody posted first, but I didn't check the greys.

Unseen University from Discworld, but only after Arch-chancellor Ridcully did away with the whole "murder your way to the top" mentality. What better place to learn than at a university full of wizards that are more interested in a good meal than they are in a using magic.

They did install elevators in one of the books, but they wanted to be sure that people were using the elevators in an orderly fashion (i.e., the red elevator is to be used to bring people up and the blue elevator is used to bring people down). Being the brilliant planners they were, they enforced the rules by only

I went full beard for a while during college and I loved every minute of it. I finally had to shave when I started looking for internships. In the future, I will probably go back to a well-maintained beard, but I would really love to just let it grow wild again.

I just recently got into "better" shaving. I still use cartridges instead of the double-edge, but that is just until I find the right razor. Shaving used to be my least favorite part of my morning routine, but with a brush and a quality lather, I find that it has gone from being a chore into a relaxing routine.

The video store I frequented as a kid had a prop severed head from Night of the Living Dead. It used to make me a little uncomfortable, but the thing that really gave me heebie-jeebies was the cover for the movie Mute. It had a close-up of a woman's face with the title of the movie as stitches though her mouth.

Has io9 ever done an open channel or a superlist of the best horror-comedies? Those tend to be some of my favorite movies.

I was older when I first saw that movie and there were still scenes that left me feeling a little unsettled.
