Just 3 hours until I get home from work and dive into the world of Halo:CE again. It's been too long my friend.

I think the issue reviewers have with it is that it's only one game rather than a bundle of multiple games...but it's still the same price.
Well the multiplayer uses Reach's engine, so it is VERY similar to Reach, in regards to the muliplayer. But if that's all you're looking for you could just get the map pack that came out today that has all of the maps that come with anniversary edition. But I definitely recommend playing the campaign it's a great game…
No, check out the description of what they are at the bottom of the article.
The thing that you have to remember though is that the no or yes is solely based on the opinion of the person who has spent the most time with the game (the "lead writer"). Which i guess in this case is supposed to be Evan? The other two are just random gut-checks whether they played the game or not. So even if Fahey…
I think they're actually somewhat similar in a sense that you (usually [in zelda]) have to attack the enemies strategically in a certain way and at a certain time. It's the lock-on with a shield and sword kind of combat that I enjoy a lot more than the more hack and slash type of combat elder scrolls is like. (part of…
I understand what you're saying but that would kind of defeat the purpose of the gut checks, it would basically be a review if they threw in what you're asking for.
I was wondering the same thing, check out my post below.
Sure you can have your opinion about this game and I'm not trying to get all hot and bothered by the "no" since I'm getting the game and am going to enjoy the shit out of it anyways. What bothers me is that it seems like you dismissed this game because and only because it was an HD remake. You (meaning the two kotaku…
YES! I said this last week on TAY. If Skyrim (or any elder scrolls game for that matter) had the combat of demons souls or Zelda I'd be all about it. But the combat is just so horrible.
haha, I'll send you a million virtual dollars for every dollar you "waste" if that happens.
You definitely should, it's a great game, plenty worth the $15 price tag.
haha what's wrong with that sentence? I got my point across. It slows you down but not that much...okay, maybe I should have used coordination rather than dexterity but if you read what I said before that it makes more sense...no I'm not high lol I'm at work actually, I have a lot of other stuff on my mind to be…
I actually would say the opposite of that, I enjoyed Uncharted 3 but I didn't love it. And I returned it the second I finished the game(I redboxed it) There was no urge to start playing it again after I finished. I've played all 3 games and each one I've felt the same about. Good but not great IMO.
It's probably set up like that because the demand for those games is really high when they are released so they want all of their copies available to subscribers to keep everyone happy, otherwise the supply would lower dramatically, thus increasing the wait time for those games and then inherently reducing the purpose…
They could do future. Like ray guns and such.
I wouldn't say as much, what makes alcohol worse to play games with(or really, do anything) than weed is motor skills. Not only are motor skills slowed down but they're just downright shitty when you're drunk. You can't control anything. Weed on the other hand really doesn't hinder your dexterity but yes it slows you…
Yep, and better yet I'm getting it for $20 thanks to one of Amazon's $20 pre-order promotions from another game I picked up on there. Damn good deal if you ask me...I don't even know if I could pick up Reach, used, for less than that.
haha, all from killing a chicken? That's hilarious/awesome. I'm not a huge elder scrolls fan, could not get through oblivion or fallout 3. But after hearing stories like this I'm definitely going to pick up Skyrim for Christmas or something, maybe there will be a patch or two by then also (I hear there's quite a few…
All I see is Skyrim, Skyrim, Skyrim (which makes sense) then maybe a little AC:Revelations...Can Halo: Anniversary get some love?
