The real miracle of the night was when Nick Stahl burst in and joined in on the chorus to Pearl Jam's "Alive".

Ha!
I'm surprised he took that so hard. Considering he's with the Rays, who once acquired Jose Canseco, he should be used to bum deals.

Yep. Good one. Also, I'm pissed at myself for forgetting Passing Me By by The Pharcyde.
Nah dude. No ridicule from me. That's a cool story. It sucks when people simply dismiss the Bee Gees because they're a "disco band", for two reasons. 1. As you said, they were a fantastic band, regardless of genre. 2. It's a reductive statement, since they existed well before and well after the disco era.
Lupe is great. Lasers was a huge disappointment though. I'm still really fucking excited for Food & Liquor 2.

You talking Souls of Mischief or Pete Rock and CL Smooth? Either way, I'm fucking insanely jealous. Good call on the Rae, BTW.
The Bee Gees were a really great band, pre-disco (and during disco, depending on your taste). I actually like a decent amount of their disco stuff too. This song is probably my favorite of that phase.
Good call on the EPMD
Great one. My computer was actually being a slow bitch, so it took like 10 seconds until I could see which video you actually posted, but I was half expecting it to be Lucini when I saw you put one up. And there needs to be obvious stuff here, if it's an essential list. So, here' my obvious one.
