I'm not saying you're wrong. I guess I still vividly remember the days when mainstream hip-hop had been invaded by the terror of Lil' Jon and the Ying-Yang Twins (and Mike Jones, and that Laffy Taffy song), so I'll take someone like Drake being a popular mainstream rapper over that bullshit any day of the week.

Yeah, I can't understand the hyperbole I've seen in nearly every review of that album. I don't think he's terrible, exactly. But he isn't anything special. I'd better see that same sort of praise for the new Roots album, because that fucker is amazing.
